Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations – Jeremiah 1:5

“…Why was I born AT a time like this?

…You were born FOR a time like this. So it was for Jeremiah, so it is for you and me.

It was Jeremiah’s lot to minister to a nation that was dying. Pride, envy, wrath, sloth, greed, gluttony, and lust – all the Deadly Sins – were killing its soul. Jeremiah’s days were as evil as ours.

Come now therefore and I will send thee unto Pharaoh that thou might bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt – Exodus 3:10

“Moses was born of Hebrew slaves, grew up in Pharaoh’s court and became mighty in words and deeds (Acts 7:22). For the first eighty years of his life, he was a prince, a general, a murderer and a shepherd. None of these designations was God’s purpose for him. Moses did not become the Moses we know today until God spoke to him. [None of the designations was meant to be his destination]

For we are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus unto good works which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them – Ephesians 2:10

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the CALLED according to His PURPOSE. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified” – Romans 8:28-30

There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand – Proverbs 19:21

“God desires that every man find his purpose and fulfil it. If a man wants to know who he is in order to live fully in that reality, he must first understand GOD’s PRINCIPLES of PURPOSE. He has to learn these anchors for living from the Word of God. Otherwise, he will fall into a trap of confusion…
