How God ANOINTED Jesus of Nazareth with the HOLY GHOST and WITH POWER: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for GOD WAS WITH HIM – Acts 10:38
To anoint means “to smear with oil.” In the Bible, the anointing depicts a supernatural endowment on a person or object for the purpose of divine service. God uses only anointed vessels for holy service. He commanded Moses that the oil was not to be used for purposes other than His service. This supernatural endowment is also referred to as God’s Presence.
God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with: (1) the Person of the Holy Spirit and (2) Power. This distinction was intentional. Although the Power referred to is the Power of the Holy Spirit, it seemed important to emphasize both His Person and His Power. This Power is one aspect of the multi-faceted manifestations of God the Holy Spirit. For the Son of Man – Jesus of Nazareth – to manifest the works of God with dynamism and effectiveness, He had to be ANOINTED with the Holy Spirit and His POWER. The same Supernatural Power is available by faith, to every Believer in Christ.
The anointing is God’s “liquid fire” by which believers in Christ are meant to do the “greater works” that the Master promised: “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father” (Jh.14:12). The anointing does not come apart from our intimacy with God’s Presence. Acts 10:38 says concerning Jesus: “for God was with Him”! The more you cherish the manifest Presence of God, the more you will be anointed with His Spirit and with Power. The outcome: Divine Dynamism (“who went about”); impact, performance and productivity (“doing good…healing…”). The anointing is God’s POWER for PERFORMANCE!
In our days, many people seek the anointing for different reasons other than the divinely-ordained purpose of service. The major reason why we are to thirst passionately for more of God’s power is to advance His Kingdom on earth. The needs of the blind, depressed, poor, and hurting humanity are waiting for the touch of the anointing in the lives of God’s children. Rise up by faith in the anointing of the Holy Spirit, go about doing good, healing and delivering the oppressed, for God is with you!

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
