Bible Meditation:
2 Corinthians 5:1-21

If a man dies, shall he live again? All the days of my hard service I will wait, till MY CHANGE comes – Job 14:14

CHANGE is the most constant thing in the universe! You change. Men change. Things change. Only God never changes. He is the ever-faithful Unchanging Changer! Life is a consistent movement of change, not a monument of sameness. Life is more about the possibilities of the future than the memories of the past. Nothing is permanent! It would be strange to find someone wearing the same cloth for ten years. Everything in life wears away. Everything in life has an expiration date. Even the spiritual requires constant renewal: “Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being RENEWED day by day” (2Cor.4:16). Life in Christ is part of a supernatural process of Change!

Change can be tough and uncomfortable. It can be a painful, but inevitable experience. The alternative to change is to be “chained”: “A prudent man foresees evil and hides himself; the simple pass on and are punished” (Pro.27:12). The fool who refuses to change and ends up in chains! All the warnings of Samuel that King Saul should change were not heeded, until he crashed the crown, his neck and the posterity of his children’s claim to the throne (1Sam.15). People often find it extremely difficult to deal with unexpected change. Many become too attached to the way things are; it is traumatic when such are taken away from them. Many people fail in life because they are unwilling to make changes.

The New Birth is an initiation into Divine Transformation (2Cor.5:17). However, many who claim to be children of God are bereft of commensurate change, having allowed the world to mold them (Rom.12:2). They still mimic the world in values, priorities, speech, behavior, habits, and actions. Beloved, examine yourself. How have you lived your Christian life? Are you growing in faith and maturing in the spirit? Are you tolerating what the Master cannot tolerate? In this season of Divine Transformation, the Lord is calling you into a more intimate relationship with Him. But you must be ready to pay the price of consecration and commitment for change.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
