And they went forth, and PREACHED EVERYWHERE, the Lord WORKING WITH THEM, and CONFIRMING THE WORD with signs following. Amen – Mark 16:20
The power of God is not meant for mere exhibition and showmanship within the four walls of the church. It is not meant to satisfy the selfish appetites of pseudo-spiritual spectators for spectacular manifestations. Many children of God want to see extraordinary displays of God’s power, but few seem to understand how that power is activated, triggered and released. They want to see great manifestations of God’s power while warming the church pews. They want the power of God to be poured on them in church or transmitted through anointed “Big Men” of God – “Spiritual Superstars”! Not many believers are willing to step out of their comfort zone of spiritual complacency and reach out to the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
It all boils down to what we think the PURPOSE of the POWER is! Is God’s power more relevant within the confines of the church than out there among hurting humanity? What do we intend to do with His power in church? Does the power come on us just so we can feel good and excited? From the accounts of the four Gospels and the Acts of the Apostles, it is evident that the demonstration and manifestation of God’s power are more visible and tangible through believers who are “on the go” practising and preaching the Gospel with fervour and passion. As we GO with the Gospel to those who need to see and hear it, we’ll see more of God’s power in vivid manifestation through us than ever before. The main arena of demonstration of divine Power is not within the confines of our cathedrals, but out there in the ripe and ready harvest fields of the world!
Mark 16:20 shows that it was as the disciples went EVERYWHERE preaching the Word of the Lord that He WORKED WITH THEM and CONFIRMED the WORD with signs following. Without the Word, there is nothing for God to confirm. Signs don’t follow us as we sit in the house or warm the pews; they follow the preaching of the Word. The Word that we preach is what the Lord bears witness to. Beloved, if you desire to see God’s power made manifest through you, then arise, get out there and begin to LIVE, PRACTISE and PREACH the WORD wherever and however the Lord gives you the grace.

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
