“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have PEACE…” – John 16:33a
All Glory to God for sailing through the Month of Divine Presence and Rest to witness His ASSURANCE of DIVINE PEACE and Rest: “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have PEACE. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world” (Joh.16:33). We can remain perfectly calm in the middle of a chaotic world because our Lord has already stripped the storm of its power to defeat us. While the systems around us shake, break, and spiral sporadically, Believers are invited to live from a position of absolute internal rest, knowing that our peace is anchored in a finished eternal Victory. We can draw Peace from our Overcoming Saviour.
Into a deeply fractured and uncertain world, our Lord dropped a radical truth that should change how we view every battle. As He prepared to face the cross, He looked at His terrified disciples – who were about to watch their world spin out of control – and, rather than offer them a list of life hacks or a political escape route, anchored their trembling hearts with the Assurance of His Presence, Rest, and Peace in His Word (v.33). The Lord gave a realistic map of the world’s environment. He didn’t pretend that life will be easy, stating that the world offers nothing but tribulation. But He immediately shifted our focus, revealing that our peace is not found in our circumstances, but in Him!
Jesus has already fought the world, stripped it of its power to destroy us, and finalized the Victory. When we step into Christ through faith, we are not fighting for victory; we are resting from a Victory that has already been won. So, we can cheer up and drop the anxiety, because the storm we are looking at is already a defeated foe. Earlier, the Master promised that the time of speaking in figurative language was over; He would speak plainly (vv.25-26). He reaffirmed our direct access to the Father’s Love. The Creator of the Universe deeply and passionately loves us (v.27). Knowing this eliminates the panic of trying to survive on our own! We are not spiritual orphans begging for attention!
The Lord then traced the Divine Cycle: He came from the Father into the world, and by returning to the seat of ultimate Authority, our future is backed by the highest Power (v.28). While the disciples boasted in their flesh, He gently cautioned them, foretelling of a coming hour when they would all be scattered to their homes. Yet, He added that He was not alone (vv.29-32). Our stability does not depend on human crowds; God's Presence is our Ultimate Majority. Peace is a deliberate territory inside Christ: “in Me”! Trouble is an external reality: “in the world.” But, he has overcome the world by the finished Work. Therefore, Joy and Confidence are guaranteed rights of redemption for Believers.
In Jesus’ Name, I affirm that:
My mind is a secure sanctuary of peace, completely hidden in Christ, free from anxiety, panic, and emotional heaviness.
The Father Himself deeply, passionately, and permanently loves me; therefore, I am never alone, and will be of good cheer, filled with Joy.
I break free from the exhausting trap of human dependency, fleshly hustle, and mental drain, and my soul rests confidently in Christ’s Victory!
I will not be scared by the world’s troubles, as my Saviour has stripped it of its power. I am secured by the Authority of the Resurrected King.

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
