Come and see the works of God; He is AWESOME in His doing towards the sons of men – Psalm 66:5
Today, we’ll celebrate God’s AWESOMENESS!
He is the Mountain-Mover, Wonder-Worker, Miracle-Maker, and Impossibility-Doer!
He is amazing in Character, Capability, and Creativity; and splendid in Wisdom, Power, and Majesty!
Who dares Him that declares: “Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?” (Jer.32:27).
The Awesome, Omnipotent, Omnipresent, and Omniscient God is the God of Mysteries, Miracles, and Marvels. He knows the end from the beginning. He is never surprised; never shocked; never stunned, and never overwhelmed. Jehovah says, “Behold the former things have come to pass and new things I declare; before they spring forth I tell you of them” (Isa.42:9). He “declares the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done, saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure’ (Psa. 46:9-10). He does what He wills and no one can curtail or query Him.
I’ll praise God for His Goodness; worship Him for His Greatness, and celebrate Him for His Awesomeness. His Goodness makes us shout: “Be glad in the LORD and rejoice, you righteous; and shout for joy, all you upright in heart” (Psa.32:11). His Greatness makes heaven shout: “And one cried to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of hosts; the whole earth is full of His glory!” (Isa.6:3). His Awesomeness causes jubilation: “Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples! Shout to God with the voice of triumph! For the LORD Most High is awesome; He is a great King over all the earth” (Psa.47:1-2).
The Lord is awesome in His deeds and terrible in His works: “By awesome deeds in righteousness You will answer us, O God of our salvation, You who are the confidence of all the neds of the earth, and of the far-off seas” (Psa. 65:3). David proclaimed: “COME and SEE the works of God; He is AWESOME in His doing towards the sons of men” (Psa. 66:5). The sixteenth verse then says: “COME and HEAR, all you who fear God, and I will declare what He has done for my soul.”
The Awesome God bypassed Sarah’s doubt, to affirm His promise to her at the age of ninety to bear a son; and He fulfilled it. To her, the prophecy contradicted natural laws of pro-creation. But when the Awesome God is in any matter, natural laws and scientific stipulations are suspended (Gen.18:9-14). Only He could make one at such an advanced age of womanhood to conceive, cope with the gestation period, right through to safe and successful delivery of Isaac – Laughter! As you believe the Awesome God and give Him thanks, He will empower the delivery of your Laughter!
The Awesome God led Israel across the Red Sea after having delivered them from Egyptian captivity. What mortal being can explain the mystery of the dried up sea depth or the walling of the surging waters? How was the bed of the Red Sea raised to become a highway for Israel and then depressed to become a drowning pit for Pharaoh’s hosts? Only the Awesome God could (Exo.14:10-16)! Israel’s immediate responses were Praise and Thanksgiving: “Then Moses and the children of Israel sang this song to the LORD, and spoke, saying: “I will sing to the LORD, for He has triumphed gloriously! The horse and its rider He has thrown into the sea!” (Exo.15:1). Beloved, where is your story? Where is your Song?
The account of three young Hebrew heroes of faith attests to the awesome deeds of the Unfailing God (Dan.3:13-25). Nebuchadnezzar challenged the authority of God. He commanded the fiery furnace to be heated seven times more than the usual temperature and have Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego thrown into it. The executioners who carried out the king’s verdict were summarily consumed by the flame of fire, yet God’s saints came out of the furnace unhurt, amidst the appearance of the Fourth Man! In this Season of Blessings, you will come out of every physical, emotional or spiritual fiery furnace of life unhurt, triumphant, and victorious in Jesus name!

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
