THE BEGINNING OF WISDOM

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction – Proverbs 1:7

ACCESS to divine WISDOM is the GREATEST ASSET in life and ministry! Every propelling into prominence of God’s people has always been on the platform of Wisdom. Wisdom in turn is premised on PURITY – and on the fear of the Lord.

• The Fear of the Lord is a basic requirement for triumph in life. It is a vital ingredient and prerequisite for registering in the School of Wisdom. Wisdom begins when we fear God – when we hold Him in respect, reverence and awe. The Fear of God provokes purity!

Wisdom is rooted in purity: But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy (Jam.3:17).

• Purity is the primary condition to register for the Principal thing – Wisdom! Purity provides automatic access to supernatural wisdom. Joseph enrolled in the School of Wisdom by possessing the fear of God; and wisdom lifted him to a position of dominion.

• Purity distinguished Daniel in wisdom and power. Purity gives access to the instructions of wisdom, which lead to places of distinction on the earth. Divine wisdom demands divine “sanctity.” You need to walk in purity to safeguard the sanctity of your mind.

• Sin is a sinker. Sin is a stinker. Sin is a destiny-destroyer. Sin is a poison to the soul.

• Sin is a millstone tied round the neck of humanity. You cannot afford to sink your destiny in sin! Let go of SIN. Fools make a mock at sin: but among the righteous there is favour” (Pro.14:9). Those who mock at sin, end up in mockery!”
