…Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East, and have come to WORSHIP HIM – Matthew 2:2
Welcome to December, the Month of CELEBRATING JESUS! All through this month, we shall meditate on one aspect or the other of Christ’s Personality and Ministry. It is the Season of Thanksgiving and Gratitude to our Lord, Saviour, Healer, Deliverer, Baptizer with the Holy Spirit, Shepherd of our souls, and Soon-coming King. We ended November on the assurance that when we follow Jesus, He MAKES us into His best. Now is the time to pursue, seek, find, and celebrate Him.
Let’s begin with a wonderful tribute to Christ that people have enjoyed over many decades. It is entitled “One Solitary Life.”
“Here is a young man who was born in an obscure village, the Child of a peasant woman. He grew up in another obscure village. He worked in a carpenter’s shop until He was thirty. Then for three years He was an itinerant preacher. He never owned a home. He never wrote a book. He never held an office. He never had a family. He never went to college. He never put His foot inside of a big city. He never traveled two hundred miles from the place He was born. He did none of the things we usually associate with greatness. He had no credentials but Himself.
While still a young man, the tide of popular opinion turned against Him. His friends ran away. One of them denied Him. He was turned over to His enemies. He went through the mockery of a trial. He was nailed upon a cross between two thieves, and while He was dying, His executioners gambled for the only piece of property He had on earth – His coat. When He was dead, He was taken down and laid in a borrowed grave through the pity of a friend. Three days later, the tomb was empty. Twenty centuries have come and gone, and today He is the centerpiece of the human race and Leader of the column of progress.
I am far within the mark when I say that all the armies that ever marched, and all the navies that ever sailed, all the parliaments that ever sat, and all the kings that ever reigned put together, have not affected the life of humanity upon this earth as powerfully as that One Solitary Life.”

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
