John 4: 5-24

GOD IS A SPIRIT, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth – John 4:24

CHRISTIANITY is SUPERNATURAL! Welcome to November – our Month of the FULLNESS of SUPERNATURAL SUPPLIES and RICHES. This month, the Holy Spirit will amplify in our hearts and lives the SUPERNATURAL DIMENSION of a key aspect of our October meditations on the Fullness of Love, Peace, and Prosperity – Supplies and Riches!

Humanity is more familiar with the natural, visible, material, tangible realms of existence, founded on matter and the senses. The Christian faith and the Life of the Believer in Christ however transcend the limits of the natural. The supernatural realm is the facet of creation that operates above and beyond the natural laws of space and time. Though invisible and intangible to the physical senses, the supernatural realm is real, permanent, and eternal. Paul wrote: “We do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal” (2Cor.4:18). This suggests that the supernatural is the basis, fulcrum, nucleus and control room of all things, whether visible or invisible, tangible or intangible.

“God is a Spirit” (Jh.4:24a). As a SPIRIT, God lives and operates ‘naturally’ in the supernatural. He also desires the communion of those who will “worship Him in SPIRIT and in truth” (Jh.4:24b). In the beginning, God created Man in His Image and likeness – as a spirit-being. In other words, the Supernatural God made Man to be like Himself – to be supernatural. Colossians 1:6 distinguishes between things in heaven and things on earth; and between visible and invisible things: “For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him” (Col.1:16). Because God is supernatural, the natural answers to the supernatural. The supernatural exercises dominion over the natural realm.

Bible-based Christianity is uncompromisingly supernatural. If we take away the supernatural, we take away Christianity! The Christian faith is filled with supernatural elements, which include: the virgin birth of Jesus, His works of healings and miracles, His atoning death, His resurrection, the New Birth, the infilling of the Holy Spirit, and the dynamic transformation of hearts and lives. At the heart of the worldview of both Testaments is the idea that the realm of nature is created by One who transcends that nature; that God is above and beyond the created universe. God must never be identified with the realm of nature but always and everywhere be seen as the Lord over nature. While  the is limited to this seen world, the supernatural involves the realm of the divine, the realm that is above and beyond the reach of what is found in material nature.

In the last few decades however, globally, humanity has witnessed an upsurge of interest in the supernatural, but this has been driven in large measure by a fascination with the occult. People are becoming highly interested in demons, witches, spiritualism, and other occult phenomena. Simultaneously, the devil has been preoccupied with trying to strip Christianity of the supernatural altogether or to substitute the divine dimension of the supernatural with his demonic counterfeits!

Of course, to affirm the supernatural is not to denigrate the importance of the natural. God’s work of redemption is played out in the realm of space and time. But that work of redemption is not a natural process of human evolution or development; rather, it involves an intervention from God’s transcendent realm, which addresses the spiritual nature of our humanity. For us to live fulfilled lives on earth therefore, we must understand the guiding principles of the supernatural. Understanding these is vital to a life of dominion, victory, and triumph. By creation and redemption, we are rooted in the supernatural. We must re-discover our roots in God in order to unlock the vast potential of the supernatural and tap into the Ultimate Source of Life. It is His topmost desire for us to experience and enjoy SUPERNATURAL SUPPLIES and RICHES!

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
