“For You have made him a little lower than the angels, and You have CROWNED him with GLORY and honor” – Psalm 8:5
Psalm 8 reveals how the Almighty God has CROWNED Man with GLORY and honor (v.5). Man was created a little lower than “Elohim” and was crowned with Glory and Honour. Before Sin manifested in humankind, Adam and Eve were clothed – surrounded with – and crowned with the Glory of God. The man and his wife walked around as God did – covered with His Glory. They were so saturated with His Glory they had no consciousness of being physically unclothed (Gen.3: 6-11). God is perfection covered by Glory. Man was innocence covered by Glory! Adam was made in the image and likeness of God, just a little lower than God. Unfortunately, with the entry of sin, the covering of glory was removed and the crown of glory lifted. Whoever or whatever is devoid of glory is naked; a spiritual state called “ICHABOD” – “the glory is departed” (1Sam.4:21).
In Christ, Ichabod is reversed and the Glory is restored, not just to the Adamic status, but to the dimension of the divine nature: “as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue” (2Pet.1:3). Now, the believer is meant to operate in the Colossians 1:27 revelation: “To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory”! Christianity restored us not just back to what Adam and Eve used to be or had in the Garden of Eden, but truly, what we have is a far greater glory: “For even what was made glorious had no glory in this respect, because of the glory that excels” (2 Cor. 3:10). Being born again, you’re not born after the first Adam but after the second and last Adam, Jesus Christ: “...The first man Adam, became a living being.” The last Adam became a life-giving Spirit” (1Cor. 15:45).
Romans 8:30 declares: “Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom he justified, these He also GLORIFIED”! The Weymouth New Testament reads: “...and those whom He has pre-destined He also has called; and those whom He has called He has also declared free from guilt; and those whom He has declared free from guilt He has also CROWNED WITH GLORY.” These are vital New Creation realities resulting from Christ’s redemptive work. The Believer in Christ has been CROWNED WITH GLORY – ushered into a life of beauty, dignity and excellence. In 1 Peter 5:10, we read that God has called us to His own eternal glory in Christ Jesus. Referring to Jesus, Hebrews 2:9 tells us that God crowned Him with glory and honour, as He tasted death for everyone.
Jesus, through His death, being nailed sin to the Cross and by His resurrection, brought us into glory; not the glory that Adam and Eve had, but His own glory. He glorified us with Himself, such that “AS HE IS, SO ARE WE IN THIS WORLD” (1 Jh.4:17). You’re crowned with glory and honour just like Jesus. Your life isn’t for disgrace, ignominy or shame, but for glory – beauty, dignity, excellence and honour: “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light” (1Pet.2:9). I pray for you: “But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you” (1Pet.5:10).
Say with me: Christ in me is the Hope of Glory! In Christ, my life is a display of excellence and a demonstration of the fullness of Glory. I’m crowned with righteousness, dignity, and honour, and the pleasure of the Lord is prospering through me and in all dimensions of my destiny. Christ is exalted in me today and forever. My life is for His glory. Alleluia!

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
