Psalm 132: 10-18

I will abundantly BLESS HER PROVISION; I will satisfy her poor with bread– Psalm 132:15

God is committed to His COVENANT of DIVINE PROVISIONS: I will abundantly BLESS HER PROVISION; I will satisfy her poor with bread(Psa.132:15). God surely keeps covenants: My covenant I will not break, nor alter the word that has gone out of My lips” (Psa.89:34). Psalm 132 states some dimensions of His conditional covenant with David: “If your sons will keep My covenant and My testimony which I shall teach them, their sons also shall sit upon your throne forevermore” (v.12).

God’s Covenant of Provisions is backed up by His unfailing Word, but it takes faithfulness and faith to access: “So you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you” (Ex.23:25). There is absolutely no lack in God, but it pays to believe Him without reservation, doubt or wavering.

We, as believers, can connect with God’s Covenants with Abraham: “So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham...that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith… And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise” (Gal.3:9, 14, 29). Isaiah 51:2a says, “look unto Abraham your father…” (Isa.51:2). After God provided a ram in place of Abraham’s son, Isaac, he called the LORD by the covenant-name, Jehovah-Jireh, which means, “The Lord will provide” (Gen. 22:14). The Lord sees ahead, knows every need that will ever arise, and has provided all we’ll ever need for life and godliness. Faith in His Word, His promises, and the finished work of Christ, bring His provisions into manifestation.

We can also bond with God’s Covenants with David: “Incline your ear, and come to Me. Hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you – the sure mercies of David” (Isa.55:3). On the platform of this covenant, David declared: “The LORD is MY SHEPHERD, I shall not want” (Psa. 23:1). Again, he testified of the Lord: “Who satisfies my mouth with good things…” (Psa.103:5a). Psalm 23 beautifully describes the Lord as our caring and loving Shepherd. With Him as our Shepherd, the supplies of all our needs are guaranteed. This is a pointer to the Lord Jesus Christ as our Sustenance and Support in every season of life; our Provider and Peace; our Strength and Stay; our Righteousness and Reward; and our Sanctuary and Shepherd. But much more than OUR Shepherd, He is MY Shepherd – personalised!

As His heirs and joint-heirs with Christ, all of God’s blessings belong to us (Rom.8:17; Ephe.1:3). Every child of God can rest assured that our Heavenly Father is our Great Provider. We have no need to fear in times of seeming lack. We are citizens of Heaven passing through earth. We are not limited to live under the bondage and limitations of the kingdoms of this world. We live in an eternally-founded Kingdom (Heb. 12:28). Faith in God infers that we focus on Him to meet our needs rather than look to other people and things: “And my God shall supply ALL your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus” (Phil.4:19). God is bound by covenant to provide for us out of His unlimited bounties: “Blessed be the Lord, who daily loads us with benefits, the God of our salvation!” (Psa.68:19).

God blesses us to make us blessings. His Pro-visions come to fulfil our Visions. He is the Shepherd of all who love and trust Jesus as Saviour – the sheep of His pasture. We shall not lack any good thing: For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly” (Psa.84:11). All our needs – spiritual, mental, social, financial or physical – are met in Christ Jesus: I will also clothe her priests with salvation, and her saints shall shout aloud for joy… His enemies I will clothe with shame, but upon Himself His crown shall flourish” (vv.16,18).

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
