COVENANT OF WEALTH

And you shall remember the Lord your God: for it is He who gives you POWER TO GET WEALTH, that He may establish HIS COVENANT which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day – Deuteronomy 8:18

There is a POWER TO GET WEALTH embedded in the COVENANT. The dimensions of this Power include the VISION and INSIGHT to conceive wealth, the WISDOM to create wealth, and Technologies – spiritual, mental, and physical – to produce and maximize wealth. It is not so much about accumulating or exhibiting wealth, as it is about maximizing or creating value. It is this power that enables one to turn waste into wealth. God is a Producer. He designed us to be more of producers than consumers. He mandated humanity to “replenish the earth” – that is, to maximize resources and ADD VALUE to creation.

Almighty God is the Giver of the Power to get wealth, but He wants us to focus on Himself – the Giver – rather than the gift: “you shall remember the LORD…”! Our God is rich and wealthy beyond comparison. There is no poverty, penury or lack in Him. He declares: “The silver is mine, and the gold is mine…” (Hag.2:8). Wherever he finds a heart that is willing to use wealth for Kingdom purposes, God readily empowers such with this unique creative power for wealth. He anoints the hands of such a person to prosper, produce, possess, and maximize wealth: “…and whatever he does shall prosper” (Ps.1:3).

The Power to get wealth is released on the platform of the covenant: “that He may establish His covenant”! LIGHT, not LUCK, liberates from LACK! The Covenant Word is the answer book to abundance. It is the GATEWAY to GOLD and the WELLSPRING of WEALTH! “Receive, please, instruction from His mouth, and lay up His words in your heart. If you return to the Almighty, you will be built up; you will remove iniquity far from your tents. Then you will lay your gold in the dust, and the gold of Ophir among the stones of the brooks” (Job 22:22-24).

Psalm 112: 1-3 says: “Praise the LORD! Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who delights greatly in His commandments. His descendants will be mighty on earth; the generation of the upright will be blessed. WEALTH and RICHES will be in his house, and his righteousness endures forever.” Beloved, when you lay up God’s Word in your heart, He lays up His wealth in your hands!
