And when they arose early on the morrow morning, behold, DAGON WAS FALLEN upon his face to the ground before the ark of the LORD; and the head of Dagon and both the palms of his hands were cut off upon the threshold; only the stump of Dagon was left to him – 1 Samuel 5:4
GOD, the Maker of the heavens and the earth, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ and our Father also, is the All-Powerful, the Most High God! Some may believe in their sculptured gods and bow to temporal lords, but we boldly declare that there is only ONE GOD. He is the destroyer of other gods. Jehovah wreaks havoc in the domains of entities that try to compete with His Omnipotence. Pharaoh and the inhabitants and hosts of Egypt tasted of the plagues of God’s power and bowed. The prophets of Baal could not live to relay their experience of confronting the Lord God of Elijah.
In today’s meditation text, the Philistines thought they had captured the God of Israel as they took the Ark of His covenant from Ebenezer to Ashdod. They tried to incarcerate Him by putting the ark in the house of Dagon, setting ‘Him’ right beside their god. They failed to realise that no power can restrict, restrain or limit the Almighty God. At the end of the day, Dagon the god of the Philistines could not confront the Most High God. Twice, Dagon fell upon his face before the ark of the Lord. Ultimately, Dagon’s head and palms of his hands – his mentality and functionality – were severed and scattered upon the threshold. Dagon was left as a mere stump. Dagon was destroyed!
Jesus declared concerning Satan, the god of this world, “…I beheld SATAN as lightning FALL from heaven” (Lk.10:18). Not only Dagon has fallen; even SATAN HAS FALLEN. The Dagon-destroying, burden-removing, yoke-breaking Power of God dwells in every Believer in Christ. As long as you abide in Christ and His Word abides in you, you can confidently go about in the assurance that all demonic powers and satanic forces must bow to the Power of the Most High within you. “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world” (1 John 4:4).

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
