DELIVERED FROM DESTRUCTION

Bible Meditation:
Job 5: 17-27

You shall laugh at destruction and famine, and you shall not be afraid of the beasts of the earth Job 5:22

“Nor of the destruction…” (Psa.91:6b). Christ has called us to Salvation, not  to destruction! Mortal men are foolish and weak as poor little birds, and are easily lured into destruction by cunning foes, but if we dwell in God, He will ensure that the most adept deceiver shall not entrap us. Pestilence has no destroying power and calamity has no wasting influence upon the destiny of God’s true child. Pestilence walks in darkness, but the believer dwells in light; destruction wastes at noonday, but upon God’s own, the Living Sun whose beams bring restoration, has risen with “healing in His wings” (Mal.4:2).

Famine may starve or bloody wars devour, earthquake may overturn, and tempest may smite, but amid all, whoever has sought the Mercy seat and is sheltered beneath Jehovah’s overshadowing wings, shall abide in perfect peace. Days of horror and nights of terror are for the wicked, but the days and nights of the righteous in Christ are spent with God in sacred quietness. The Peace of God is not a thing of times and seasons, it does not rise and set with the sinking sun, nor does it depend upon the condition of the atmosphere or the security of society. God will keep you “in perfect peace” when your mind is stayed on Him and you trust in Him (Isa.26:3). And so, you can laugh at destruction and never be afraid.

Beloved, receive God’s Prophetic Word today: “In famine He shall redeem you from death, and in war from the power of the sword. You shall be hidden from the scourge of the tongue, and you shall not be afraid of destruction when it comes. You shall laugh at destruction and famine, and you shall not be afraid of the beasts of the earth. For you shall have a covenant with the stones of the field, and the beasts of the field shall be at peace with you. You shall know that your tent is in peace. You shall visit your habitation and find nothing amiss” (Job 5:20-24). May your eyes never see evil; your ears never hear of disaster; and may you never experience destruction, in Jesus Name!

Prayer:
Lord, empower me to prevail over and laugh at destruction; keep my tent to be in peace, and let nothing be amiss in my habitation, in Jesus name.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
