Bible Meditation:
Isaiah 66: 5-24

Shall I bring to the time of birth, and not cause DELIVERY?” says the Lord. “Shall I who cause delivery shut up the womb?” says your God – Isaiah 66:9

Possessing your possessions can be likened to taking DELIVERY of Destiny! Recovery culminates in Delivery! When God has deposited something in you, the devil and his allies – the flesh, the world, and demonic agents – always conspire to abort it. Of particular relevance are God’s promises; the things His Word declare to be your portions by divine inheritance.  Possessing your promise is like pregnancy. The joy is not just in getting pregnant; pregnancy is the difficulty. Rather, the rejoicing is in giving birth. Just like there are people who get pregnant but are never able to give birth successfully in the natural, there are many people with glorious promises who never successfully deliver! There are people whose spiritual wombs receive, but cannot nurture a promise to fruition; they spontaneously abort the Word. There are others who lose their conceived dreams and visions for one reason or another. This may be due to a lack of “strength to bring forth” (Isa.37:3).

The preceding text is part of a communication from Hezekiah King of Israel when the King of Assyria entered Israel and began attacking and overtaking many cities (Isa.36:1). Hezekiah sent word to Isaiah to tell God what was going on, and that they were in danger of losing their destiny, nation, and land. Whereas they were at a critical moment that could witness the birth of something wonderful, they were completely out of strength to deliver the baby. Could it be that you’ve been pregnant with a promise, but sense there is a danger of losing the baby? Hezekiah was brought to the brink of despair. Whenever a promise is stirred up in you, hell is always seeking ways to abort everything God wants to give birth to. God is interested in fulfilling His promises and delivering the destiny He has for you: a desired future, calling, healing, breakthrough, marriage or business turn-around, restoration of a relationship, or your children serving God.

Ponder for a moment on the process of conception and the critical moments of pregnancy. The Bible describes conception – meeting to create life – as the word being mixed with faith: “For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it” (Heb.4:2). Some people when it comes to the word of God have a spontaneous abortion – the devil steals the sown word (Mk.4:4,15). A word aborted is tantamount to a life-purpose halted or a destiny terminated. Some people will never carry God's promises to term because their womb won't accept a promise. Moreover, the process of giving birth can be incredibly tiring, stressful, and dangerous. Sometimes, labor can be so long, exhaustion sets in, and the woman could feel like she didn't have the strength to see it through. There are several types of strength that one can run out of in labor: physical, mental, emotional or spiritual.

Giving birth demands a whole lot of physical and emotional struggle: morning sickness, back aches, leg cramps, and stretch marks. Hezekiah saw fortified walls and cities fall, Jerusalem isolated, and people that he thought were pillars, captured by the enemy. He was on his own and became fearful of his ability to overcome. Strangely, the Assyrians came against Jerusalem, not only with military might, but attack with words (Isa.36:11-12). Sennacherib sent his field commander to intimidate Judah into surrendering. The enemy often invades our lives to taunt and test our trust in the Lord, using disturbing thoughts and words. Countless destinies have been aborted by terrifying thoughts: “It’s too late. God is not going help you; if he was you wouldn't be where you already are in this situation; you aren’t going to make it.” Beloved, for you to live for God, you must stand on His word and learn to deal with intimidating thoughts sent and words spoken by the enemy. Believe God’s Prophetic Word: Your womb shall not be shut. There shall be perfect DELIVERY of your Destiny, in Jesus name!

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
