Bible Meditation:
Isaiah 35: 1-10

“The desert and the parched land will be glad; the wilderness will rejoice and blossom…” – Isaiah 35:1

Divine Restoration often manifests as the prophetic dimension of DIVINE BLOSSOMING: "The desert and the parched land will be glad; the wilderness will rejoice and blossom. Like the crocus, it will burst into bloom; it will rejoice greatly and shout for joy" (Isa.35:1-2). In today’s meditation passage, the prophet switched from warnings of judgment to an awesome Vision of Hope. He described a literal and spiritual transformation of the landscape, the picture of a desolate, arid wilderness abruptly erupting with vibrant floral life and supernatural fertility.

A wilderness is not just a place of physical heat; it represents a season of intense isolation, barrenness, emotional exhaustion, and spiritual dryness. It is that painful space where resources have run dry, expectations feel choked, and every human effort to produce fruit yields nothing but dust. Yet, Isaiah revealed that the wilderness has ears. He addressed the desert! He spoke directly to the dead ground, declaring that its current state of emptiness was not its final destination. The dry areas of our lives are under a divine mandate to obey the word of the Lord! A desert season is never God's final destination for our lives; it is simply the staging ground for His greatest manifestation of growth.

Addressing directly the theme of Divine Restoration, the wilderness represents human helplessness – barrenness, dryness, and isolation. The opening verses however reveal that restoration is not a gradual, human effort; it is a sudden, sovereign act of God. When He steps into a dry season, the desert doesn't just survive, it blossoms abundantly with the glory of Lebanon and the splendour of Carmel and Sharon, meaning that no matter how long a life, career, or family has been a “parched land,” God's Creative Power can make it burst into full bloom.

To experience and sustain Divine Blossoming, we must cultivate wilderness worship; strengthen feeble hands; and expect acceleration. We do not wait for the rain to praise God. We sing and rejoice while still in the desert, knowing our joy activates the supernatural shift. We are charged to strengthen weak knees (Isa.35:4). As we reject spiritual tiredness and get back into the Word, let’s prepare our capacity for future harvests. Like the crocus flower that rapidly sprouts after a dry spell, we expect God to accelerate our progress, restoration, and growth.

In Jesus’ Name, I boldly decree that:

The days of spiritual, emotional, and financial dryness are permanently over. My life has shifted from a barren wilderness to a fruitful garden.

I carry the fragrance of God's Favor, and I am blossoming in every area, as He causes my hidden potentials to burst into full glaring bloom.

The Glory of the Lord overrides every trace of shame and reproach in my life. I step into a season of abundant joy, singing, and celebrating.

As I walk on the Highway of Holiness; no devourer is permitted near my blessings. My health, career, and family witness total restoration.

By the Power of the Master Performer of promises, I will not wither under pressure; I am deeply rooted and flourishing by the river of life.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
