Bible Meditation:
Mark 11: 20-26

“Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them” – Mark 11:24

Believers are called to the Faith-Life – walking in DIVINE POSSIBILITIES: “Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them” (Mark 11:24). In a world bounded by limitations – limited resources, time, and strength – believers are called to operate under a different set of rules. When Peter noticed the withered fig tree that the Lord Jesus had cursed the previous day, he was shocked by the speed of the miracle. The Lord used the moment to teach that this was not a unique power reserved only for Him, but a resource available to all who “have faith in God.”

The “mountains” in human lives – intractable debts, incurable diseases, or broken relationships – would bow to the authority of Faith-filled Words. The “God-life” is one of Fath and Divine Possibilities. Verse 24 – the core of this teaching – shifts prayer from a desperate cry of a beggar to an authoritative exchange with a loving Father. It calls for “pre-emptive faith” – believing that the answer is already ours before we see it in the physical realm. This transcends positive thinking; it’s about anchoring our confidence in God’s steadfast Character and Promise. The focus of having “Faith in God” is not on the size of our faith, but on the Object of our faith – God Himself (v.22).

Faith in God is expressed through speaking Mountain-Moving Words: commanding mountains of challenges, obstacles, or problems, to move, rather than just talking to God about them: (v.23). True Faith refuses to doubt in the heart and visualizes the answer as already accomplished. The Prayer of Faith is not just requesting, but RECEIVING. It moves past simply asking, to enter into the realm of receiving through faith. In the spiritual realm, God has already provided, and our faith is the bridge that brings the promise into the physical realm.

Believing before seeing alleviates the stress of waiting; and fuels proactive, confident action. So, let’s stop complaining about mountains, and start commanding them, quoting God’s Promises. Forgiveness is however a Gateway to Power: Unforgiveness blocks prayers. A heart of love will sustain a clear channel for power (vv.25-26). Let’s audit our heart for Unforgiveness, to unlock the flow of Grace.

I declare in the Name of Jesus, that:

As I walk in faith, I see divine possibilities in every situation. I am a child of the King, and I live under an open heaven.

I command every mountain of limitation to be removed. I have the Mind of Christ; I see solutions, not obstacles.

My future is bright, secured by the Plans of God. I am surrounded by favour, and doors of opportunity are opening for me.

As the righteousness of God in Christ, my prayers are heard and answered. I am not a victim of circumstances, but a Victor in Christ.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
