“’…You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You” – Jeremiah 32:17b
Hopelessness has no place in the Realm of DIVINE POSSIBILITIES: “‘Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You” (Jer.32:17). The context of a hopeless” situation in today’s meditation passage proves that nothing is impossible with God. Jeremiah was in prison. Jerusalem was under Babylonian siege, and destruction was imminent. Humanly speaking, all hope was lost. Yet, God commanded Jeremiah to buy a field as a symbolic act, signifying that houses, fields, and vineyards would again be bought in the land (v.15). Though struggling with the logic of this commandment, he pivoted to prayer, acknowledging God's Power.
God responded: “Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for Me?" (v.27). Jeremiah had acknowledged God as the Creator of heaven and earth, implying that Possibility is rooted in Creation! If God could create something out of nothing, He can create a way out of a no-way situation (v.7a). The metaphor of “outstretched arm” refers to His direct, active intervention in human history. It reminds us that God is not a distant deity but an active Participant in solving human crises. He presents a “No-Limitation” reality! The Hebrew term for "too hard" infers something extraordinary, beyond human capability. Our “impossible” is simply God's “ordinary.”
“God of all flesh” means that He controls every person, nation, and circumstance, including those that seem to be oppressing His people. God is sovereign over all circumstances. Commanding Jeremiah to buy land while the city was falling – akin to obedience in darkness – means that Divine Possibility often requires acting in faith, despite contrary circumstances (vv.14-15). The lessons for us Believers are to:
Stop worrying – start worshiping: When faced with "impossible" situations, let’s shift our focus from the size of the problem to the greatness of our God.
Act on God's Instructions: Like Jeremiah, we may be called to take a step of faith that seems foolish to the world. Obedience is the key to unlocking God's “Outstretched Arm.”
In Jesus’ Name, I declare that:
The Almighty God, my Creator, is creating a new way for me today. No situation in my life is too hard for the Lord to handle.
God's outstretched Arm is moving on my behalf right now. Every "impossibility" around me is God's "opportunity" to show His Power.
Because I serve the God of all flesh, to Whom every knee must bow, I will buy my "field" – fulfill life’s purpose – even amidst challenges.
Every hopeless situation around me is being restored by the Lord. I will not look at the problem or siege, but at the Sovereign Lord.
The God of all possibilities brings me out of every "prison" of limitation. My perpetual testimony shall be: "Nothing is too hard for my God"!

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
