Bible Meditation:
Isaiah 64: 1-9

“But now, O Lord, You are our Father; We are the CLAY, and You are the POTTER; and all we are the work of Your hand” – Isaiah 64:8

Yielding to DIVINE PROCESSING transforms our imperfections into vessels of honour that reflect God’s Glory: But now, O Lord, You are our Father; We are the CLAY, and You are the POTTER; and all we are the work of Your hand” (Isa.64:8). Divine Processing is God’s Shaping Hands doing a sovereign work of transforming us through trials, seasons of waiting, and His Word. Our meditation text begins with the Cry for Divine Visitation: The prophet Isaiah expressed a desperate longing for God to manifest His raw Power and Presence (vv.1-4). True divine processing often begins with a deep realization of our need for God to step in and break through the "mountains" of our struggles.

Admitting their human frailty, the people acknowledged their sins and the utter inadequacy of their own righteousness (vv.5-6). Before we can be processed, we must humbly admit we cannot fix ourselves in our own strength, but as we surrender to the Potter (v.8). This recognises God’s absolute right to shape our lives, as well as His intimate, fatherly care while He does it. Knowing that God is the Creator and we are His creation, believers can boldly but humbly appeal to His enduring Mercy and Grace, to not hold past sins against us (v.9). These align with the foundational imagery of the potter reworking a marred vessel, illustrating God’s right and ability to reshape our lives (Jer.18:1-6).

As we embrace the process of waiting, we’ll recognize that the moments we feel "stuck" or face trials are often turns on the Potter's wheel. The waiting is designed to mature, not break us. We must remain pliable: teachable, flexible, and humble, ready to let go of our own plans to fit into God’s master design. Hard-baked clay is unusable and will break under pressure. Let’s stop comparing vessels. The Potter has a unique purpose and function for each of us. Every intense trial or difficult circumstance is a tool in His shaping Hand. The Potter’s Hands are both shaping and sovereign. God is at work in our lives to conform us into the likeness of His Son (Rom.8:29). Let’s submit to the process!

In Jesus’ Name, I affirm that:

I am God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for a divine purpose. I am soft and pliable clay in the hands of my Heavenly Father.

I submit to life’s refining fires and shaping wheels, knowing they are for my good. I release my own expectations and align my will with the ultimate plan of the Divine Potter.

I embrace the process of spiritual maturity and trust God's timing in my season of waiting. I am the work of His hands, and He will complete the good work He has started in me.

Every challenging circumstance I face is an opportunity for God to shape Christ-like character in me. My life is not a random series of events; but a masterpiece carefully formed by God's Hand.

I lay down self-reliance and trust fully in God’s Sovereignty over my life. I am a vessel of honour, fit for the Master's use, radiating His light and love.

Prayer:
Father, as we surrender every aspect of our lives to Divine Processing, transform us from raw clay into precious Vessels of Glory, in Jesus’ name.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
