DIVINE PROFIT (9)

"And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart" – Galatians 6:9

DIVINE PROFIT includes reaping the rewards of faithful endurance: "And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart" (Gal.6:9). Here, the Apostle Paul introduced a spiritual law that governs the economy of God’s Kingdom: The Law of Sowing and Reaping. God is not a debtor; every investment made into His Kingdom yields guaranteed return and Divine Profit. Verse 6 encourages Investment in the Word: Sharing “all good things” – material and financial support – with those who feed us spiritually. This is not charity; it is an investment in the gospel to ensure an unceasing flow of divine revelation and unlock a cycle of mutual blessing.

Verses 7 and 8 state the Law of the Seed, beginning with a stern warning: “God is not mocked.” We cannot trick the laws of creation. A farmer who plants weeds cannot pray for a harvest of wheat. If we invest time, finances, and effort purely into carnal or fleshly desires, the natural payout is decay and ruin. However, when we invest in spiritual things – worship, prayer, kingdom service, and righteousness – we are sowing into the eternal realm. This guarantees a return that outlasts this lifetime, manifesting as both earthly blessings and eternal life. Sowing to the flesh brings corruption; sowing to the Spirit guarantees the ultimate Divine Profit – Eternal Life!

Paul acknowledged a harsh reality: doing good is exhausting (v.9). To “grow weary" implies losing heart or succumbing to spiritual burnout when there is prolonged delay between the seed and the harvest. But the promise of “due season” (Kairos) stands – God’s strategically appointed, mature, and perfect time, when the seed has finished its silent growth and is ready to yield Divine Profit. The only condition attached is endurance – “do not lose heart.” The greatest enemy of Divine Profit is weariness. Fainting cancels the harvest! This starts within; hence we must guard our heart diligently. Divine Profit demands systematic sowing. We must not stop praying, giving, and serving!

Verse 10 demands Universal Goodness: Our sowing must extend to all people, starting with the household of faith! Given the sure harvest, our lifestyle must be one of continuous, proactive benevolence. We must seize every opportunity to do good to all people. While our generosity should touch the world, our primary, urgent responsibility is to the “household of faith” – our spiritual family!

In this season of Divine Performance, my labour of love shall not be in vain! Every seed I have sown breaks forth into a harvest of joy!

I break the power of weariness and fainting over my life and assignment. My “due season” of Divine Profit has come and I will not faint!

Supernatural Strength replaces spiritual and physical fatigue in my life. I will not miss my hour of visitation; my eyes will see my harvest.

The Lord is performing His good word in my life, turning tears into treasures. I experience supernatural overflows in all aspects of life.

Doors of divine opportunities are swinging open for me. The wealth of the kingdom is unlocked as I sow to the Spirit daily!
