DIVINE RESTORATION (9)

“Those from among you shall build the old waste places; you shall raise up the foundations of many generations..." – Isaiah 58:12a

DIVINE RESTORATION turns a Believer’s life into a blueprint for healing, helping to build broken generations: “Those from among you shall build the old waste places; you shall raise up the foundations of many generations; and you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, The Restorer of Streets to Dwell In” (Isa.58:12). Divine Restoration is God’s swift, illuminating power that breaks through our darkest seasons to repair, rebuild, and completely revive our lives. Restoration is intrinsically tied to alignment with God's Heart. When we align our actions with His desires, His sovereign hand performs a swift and undeniable transformation, turning hopeless desolation into a well-watered garden.

Here, God addresses the hypocrisy of empty religious rituals: fasting while continuing oppression, strife, and selfishness (v.4). He redefined the fast He chose: loosing the bonds of wickedness, feeding the hungry, and clothing the naked. True fasting breaks oppression and activates supernatural intervention, dynamic breakthroughs. This heart alignment comes with stunning rewards. First, our breakthrough is no longer delayed; there is a sudden outburst of light, health springs up speedily, with righteousness leading the way (v.8). Even in times of national or economic drought, there is continual divine guidance, and God satisfies our souls and strengthens our bones to become unfailing springs (v.11). When we become an answer to someone else's drought, God ensures our own lives become unceasing and unfailing springs.

We cease being victims of ruin and become God's instrument to fix what was broken for generations (v.12). God does not just patch up our past; He uses us to rebuild the foundations of our future – to rebuild ancient ruins, raise up old generations, and become Restorers of Streets. By faith we can step into our new Rebuilding Identity: Rather than looking at our family or personal background as an unfixable ruin, we start developing the identity of designated builders authorized to fix generational foundations. This calls for a shift from ritual to relationship: True Restoration begins when we love what God loves and care for the broken, as we let our faith express itself through compassion.

In Jesus’ Name, I boldly decree that:

My light breaks forth like the morning. My healing springs up speedily. God’s righteousness goes before me, and His glory is my rear guard.

The Lord guides me continually, directing every step I take this year. In times of scarcity and drought, my soul is fully satisfied by my Father.

The Lord makes my bones strong, giving me supernatural health and vitality. My life is like a well-watered garden whose waters never fail.

In alignment with God’s Heart, I am satisfied in dry places, and my life becomes an endless, well-watered spring

I am rebuilding ancient ruins and old waste place in my lineage. I raise up godly and prosperous foundations for many generations after me.

I am designated and recognized as a Repairer of generational breaches. The curse of desolation is permanently broken over my generations.
