DIVINE RESURGENCE

"But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles..." – Isaiah 40:31a

Another higher dimension of Divine Restoration relates to DIVINE RESURGENCE: “But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint” (Isa.40:31). Here, the Israelites were in Babylonian exile, feeling forgotten and physically exhausted. Captivity had drained their hope, leading them to believe their "way was hidden from the Lord" (v.27). Isaiah confronted this despair by pointing to God’s incomparable and unsearchable Power (vv. 25-28).

A resurgence is a fresh increase, comeback, or revival of activity, interest, or strength after a period of decline, inactivity, or being forgotten. A divine resurgence is a supernatural reboot or restoration of declining power. God promised that waiting on Him does not mean passive wasting; it’s an active realignment. Waiting on God is not laziness; it’s a decisive expression of spiritual posture and trust. The Hebrew word for "renew" means to exchange. In this divine exchange, our depleted human effort is swapped for God’s inexhaustible, supernatural stamina.

God will have us exchange our exhaustion. Rather than trying to recover using human hustle, we can deliberately sit in His Presence through prayer and the Word to exchange our burnout for His supernatural energy. This may require adopting the Eagle's Perspective. When facing storms, we do not flap our wings in panic. We spread out wings of faith and allow the wind of the Holy Spirit to lift us above the chaos. Essentially, restoration repairs what was broken, but Divine Resurgence elevates us beyond where we used to be. Strength is renewed and sustained in us to mount up with wings like eagles, to run and not be weary, and to walk and not faith (v.31).

In Jesus’ Name, I declare that:

My God is the Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth Who neither faints nor is weary and is unsearchable in wisdom.

Seasons of spiritual, physical, and emotional exhaustion submit to a divine exchange as God’s infinite power replaces my human weakness.

I mount up with wings like an eagle, soaring far above every storm and limitation. I run and will not grow weary; I walk daily and do not faint.

The Lord is restoring the years, energy, and opportunities that the enemy stole. His Divine Hand is lifting me into higher dimensions of Grace.

My youth, vitality, and spiritual fire are being supernaturally renewed day by day. My waiting season turns into my winning season.

I will never be stuck in chaos, captivity or confusion. I possess the stamina of the Spirit to outrun every delay and obstacle in my path.

The Lord is executing a supernatural exchange in my life, flooding my body, mind, and spirit with His Shekinah Power and Glory.

Divine Performance for Restoration is manifesting in my life. I am lifted by Grace above every limitation, into absolute Victory and Triumph.
