Bible Meditation:
Ephesians 3: 13-21

“That CHRIST may DWELL in your HEARTS through Faith; that you , being rooted and grounded in love” – Ephesians 3:17

Last month’s theme – Heart Transformation – reinforces the reality of DOMINION IN THE HEART: “That CHRIST may DWELL in your HEARTS through Faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love” (Eph.3:17). Christ’s Indwelling Presence is the Source of Dominion in the Believer’s heart! Then, God by His Grace powerfully transforms our attitudes, behaviour, habits, and lives.

Let’s recall in summary the various manifestations of Heart Transformation we’ve meditated on:

Transformed from an old, unbelieving, proud heart of stone that’s unreceptive to God, to a new heart and a new spirit (Eze.36:26).

Transformed from a betrayed, bitter, hardened, wounded heart, to a loving heart that’s tender toward Him and others (Eze.11:19).

Transformed from a deeply sinful heart to a new heart engraved with God’s Law, written in His own handwriting (Jer.31:34).

Transformed from a dirty, flawed heart to a clean, pure heart and steadfast, willing spirit with restored Joy of salvation (Psa.51:10).

Transformed from a defiant and rebellious heart to a heart that passionately seeks God – His Presence and Face (Jer.29:13).

Transformed from a wilful and ignorant heart to a heart to know the Lord, love and serve, and obediently follow Him (Jer.24:7).

Transformed from a bewildered heart to an instructed and instructing heart that’s an asset in the night seasons (Psa.16:7).

Transformed from a cluttered and fallow heart to a cultivated heart – framed and fashioned for God’s Glory (Psa.33:15).

Transformed from an unhealthy to a healthy heart that values God’s presence, precepts, praises, and purposes (1Sam.13:14).

Transformed from a heart aloof from God to a heart after His Heart, marked by Faith, Love, and attitude of Gratitude (Acts 13:22).

Transformed from a dysfunctional, polluted heart to a heart aligned with God’s Ways and turned to His testimonies (Psa.119:59).

Transformed from a heart turned back from God, to a heart turned back to the Lord, spiritually enriched and elevated (Lam.3:40).

Transformed from a careless, self-gratifying heart, to an understanding heart that treasures divine covenants (Cor.11:28).

Transformed from a faithless, backslidden heart, to a strong heart with tested, deep-rooted faith in God and His Word (2Cor.1:5).

Transformed from a heart motivated by selfish desires, to a heart that rejoices in and is stirred by the Indwelling Christ (Gal.6:4).

Transformed from a carnal heart condition, to a heart adorned with incorruptible beauty of gentleness and quietness (1Pet.3:4).

Transformed from a deceptive, impure heart, to a heart that sanctifies the Lord God and readily defends the Hope within (1Pet.3:15).

Transformed from a defiled and spoiled heart, to a properly functioning and liberated heart that has no room for spoilers (Mt.15:19).

Transformed from a sin-filled heart, to a heart free from evil thoughts having been captured to the obedience of Christ (2Cor.10:5).

Transformed from a filthy and polluted heart, to a Corruption-free heart that has escaped the world lust-laden decay (2Pet.1:4).

Transformed from an enraged, wrathful heart, to an Anger-free heart, that’s Spirit-led and gives no place to the devil (Eph.4: 26-27).

Transformed from a bitter heart, to a Bitterness-free heart from which ruinous roots of bitterness have been plucked up (Heb.12:15).

Transformed by Grace and healing Balm of the Word, from a tortured, complaint-filled heart to a Bitterness-free heart (Job 23: 2,10).

Transformed from a confused and disoriented heart, to a focused, instructed, wise, peaceful, and Confusion-free heart (1Cor.14:33).

Transformed from an insatiably materialistic heart to a generous, Greed-free heart, marked by contentment and Integrity (Lk.12:15).

Transformed from a shackled heart, to a guilt-free heart, liberated by Grace and the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ (Rom.8:1-2).

Transformed from a dark, malicious, and spiteful heart, to a forgiving, Hate-free heart that’s flooded with Light and Love (1Jh.2:9).

Transformed from a resentful, envious heart, to an Envy-free heart, that’s focused on God and celebrates the success of others.

Dominion in the Heart motivates us to surrender every stronghold to the Lord who owns and resides in our heart! Our thoughts, attitudes, conversations, and conduct will rightly align with God’s Word., quenching every besetting sin and unholy appetite. As we walk in Dominion, we’ll increasingly spread the fragrance of God’s Glory!

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
