DOUBLE PORTION – PERFECT PORTIONS

“Instead of your shame you shall have DOUBLE HONOR, and instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall POSSESS DOUBLE; everlasting joy shall be theirs” – Isaiah 61:7

God’s Will for us His children, is the DOUBLE PORTION – PERFECT PORTION: “Instead of your shame you shall have DOUBLE HONOR, and instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their PORTION. Therefore in their land they shall POSSESS DOUBLE; everlasting joy shall be theirs” (Isa.61:7).

• The Good News Translation says: “Your shame and disgrace are ended. You will live in your own land, and your wealth will be doubled; your joy will last forever.”

• The Message Bible says: “Because you got a double dose of trouble and more than your share of contempt, Your inheritance in the land will be doubled and your joy go on forever.”

For us in Kingdom Capstone Outreach Ministry, Year 2020 is our Year of Divine Perfections! You can tap into the same anointing, to enjoy Seasons of Double Portions – of honour, joy, wealth and arrays of blessings! God is replacing our past pain and experiences of contempt, confusion, grief, humiliation, shame, reproach, and trouble, with double inheritance and rewards. The lands of our lives – now fully restored – shall rejoice with double portions of all good things. The word ‘double’ is not mathematically. It portrays blessings that are greatly increased and multiplied than what was formerly possessed. It means that the privileges God’s people would be far greater than had been enjoyed under former dispensations. I call this the Possession of Perfect Portions!

God is not stingy with His blessings. The Bible is full of God’s great promises of double portions, but this always comes as a result of faith. God’s favour is unleashed when we take Him at His word and claim His covenant promises: “As for you also, because of the blood of your covenant, I will set your prisoners free from the waterless pit.  Return to the stronghold, you prisoners of hope. Even today I declare that I will RESTORE DOUBLE TO YOU” (Zech.9:11-12). Through faith, prisoners are set free from “the waterless pit” and instead they become “prisoners of hope.” There may be trials along the way, but God promises, “I will restore double to you.”

A key principle of double portion faith is that we must uncover the deception and thievery of the enemy: “If the theft is certainly found alive in his hand, whether it is an ox or donkey or sheep, he shall restore double” (Exo. 22:4). The devil is a thief, intent on stealing our serenity of spirit, peace of mind, health, possessions, relationships or anything else he can. However, when we catch him in his schemes, and expose and dislodge his works, we can expect the restoration of double for our trouble!

It takes operating in the perfect portion of Faith to enjoy God’s perfect portions of blessings, power, and provision. The Lord is challenging us to move beyond superficial faith and into a dimension of faith where the impossible becomes possible: “If you can believe, ALL THINGS are possible to him who believes” (Mk. 9:23). What an awesome promise! Instead of being a mere theory or religious cliché, faith is the bridge that allows believers to tap into the supernatural power of God. Just as money is the currency to obtain things on earth, faith is the currency of the Kingdom of Heaven. It’s impossible to please God without faith (Heb.11:6). This means faith is not just a nice option in our walk with the Lord – it’s critical. People often say that “seeing is believing,” but in reality, the reverse is true: Believing is seeing. Faith takes what we believe and by the Holy Spirit, awakens our eyes to see it come to pass.

Beloved, are you dealing with feelings of guilt and shame? Through the blood of Jesus, these shall be replaced with forgiveness and “double honor.” Are you struggling with confusion? The Lord will replace it with His double portion of provision and “everlasting joy.” Cast off Satan’s lies and deception, and believe God’s Word today. Double portions – Perfect Portions – are yours, in Jesus name!
