Bible Meditation:
Isaiah 40: 1-31

“But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint” – Isaiah 40:31

Possessing your possessions demands DYNAMISM, a word which comes from “dynamo” which speaks of energetic, driving force capable of being put to work to accomplish mighty things. God is dynamic: He has been on the move right from the beginning of time: And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters” (Gen.1:3). The blessings of His Kingdom are never obtained on the platform of passivity. They belong to the dynamic: And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force” (Mt.11:12). Dynamism implies that there is no room for ease, slackness or stagnancy. It means being on the move, to not lose the ball. Possessing the Kingdom demands a “pressing into”: The law and the prophets were until John. Since that time the kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is pressing into it” (Lk.16:16). You cannot fold your arms in ease and expect your possessions to look for you.

Dynamism is a vital indicator of life; whereas stagnancy is contrary to living. The living move; while the dead don’t move; they are static and still. The spiritually alive are on a progressive, forward and upward movement: But the path of the just is like the shining sun, that shines ever brighter unto the perfect day” (Pro.4:18). Stagnancy is an emblem of death and of the embalmed. The devil wants to stagnate you in life, but God by His anointing, will accelerate you (Isa.10:1-2, 27). Dynamism does not however infer running the rat race and dying like a rat or swimming with the sharks, through unhealthy, cut-throat competition. Dynamism means moving at God’s pace and frequency and in tune with His moves.

Dynamism essentially involves two things: action and right attitude to opportunities.

ACTION is mastery over indecision, procrastination and lethargy. A major difference between achievers and non-achievers is the ability to follow decisions with actions, without delay or distractions. A man of action is willing to move once God has given the command, even if it means he has to crawl before he begins to walk, run or soar (Isa.40: 31). The dynamic person does not despise the days of small beginnings (Zech. 4:10). God’s Word encourages us: “Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom” (Lk. 13:32).

ATTITUDE to opportunities: these are the unexpected doors which God opens for us. Life is a string of opportunities waiting to be discovered and maximized. Dynamism implies: “seizing life’s opportunities and making the most of them”. Paul said: “For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries” (1 Cor. 16:9). He did not allow the adversaries to hinder him from possessing his glorious destiny in Christ. “Each day comes to us with hands full of opportunities”. Those were the words of Helen Keller, a woman who became blind when she was 19 months old, yet grew up to inspire the lives of millions of people the world over by her life of charity and sacrifice.

David demonstrated dynamism in his Victory over Goliath: So it was, when the Philistine arose and came and drew near to meet David, that David hurried and RAN toward the army to meet the Philistine” (1Sam.17:48). Rather than wait for Goliath to attack; he took the battle to the enemy’s gate (Gen.22:17). The Lord Jesus is building His Church as a dynamic Army bombarding the gates of hell (Mt.16:18). Dynamism is His Will for you in destiny: to operate in the Power of the Holy Spirit and impact your generation from your Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth” (Acts 1:8). In like manner, God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil…” (Acts 10:38a). He is our Model of Dynamism!

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
