Bible Meditation:
Genesis 12:1-7

I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing – Genesis 12:2

God’s Covenant with Abraham was ordained to manifest on three levels: personal, national, and universal. Only God’s Sovereignty and a person’s faith or lack of it can limit the impact of divine covenant. The nature and character of God’s Covenant Word is to produce ever-increasing impact!

First, Abraham himself would be personally blessed: temporal blessings, spiritual blessings, household blessings, heavenly blessings, earthly blessings, and such personal greatness that nations would emerge from him and kings out of his loins. The LORD God rained abundant personal blessings upon Abraham. He’ll do the same to as many as follow Abraham’s faith!

The second part of the covenant covered national blessings. Abraham would have a seed that would increase and multiply to become like the stars of the heavens and the sand of the seashore. Moreover, they would have a national home in the land of Canaan, forever and ever, based on this everlasting covenant.

The third part of the Covenant was that in Abraham’s Seed all of the nations of the earth would be blessed. This speaks of a universal salvation and redemption to those who will turn in faith to accept the covenant promises of God. The entire Bible is simply an outworking through time, history, nations and generations, of these great unconditional promises, affirmations, and confirmations of our Covenant-keeping God – the unchangeable Changer!

These bring to mind another form of ever-increasing impact: But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth” (Acts 1:8). God’s Will is that we make ever-increasing impact from glory to glory, until the knowledge of His Glory covers the earth, as the waters cover the sea (Hab.2:14). May the LORD open our eyes to the full ramifications of His eternal and Global Agenda, the Power of His Spirit that guarantees fulfilment, and our roles in bringing these to pass!

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
