And he gave heed unto them, EXPECTING to receive something of them – Acts 3:5
EXPECTATION is the CATALYST of FAITH. When expectation is ignited, faith is stimulated! Unfortunately, many people approach God’s presence without an iota of expectation. Even the lame man by the Temple gate, who had never had reason to worship in the temple, had the SEED of EXPECTATION (Acts 3:5). All that Peter had to do was to RE-FOCUS the man’s expectation from money to miracle-healing and IGNITE it, and the latter was quick to receive what God had for Him. All he needed was on a one-sentence Faith-Sermon: Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk (Acts 3:6).
Expectation is the key to a rewarding exercise of “waiting on the Lord”. For surely there is an end; and thine EXPECTATION shall not be cut off (Pro. 23:18). Your expectation of reaching destination shall never be disappointed in Jesus name. God assures us in Jeremiah 29:11: For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an EXPECTÊD END.
We can dare to pray with expectation, believing God for the unprecedented! Although the whole atmosphere of the age tends to make us minimize what we can expect of God, His Word reveals that our legitimate expectation is literally without limits. Hear the Master’s affirmation: Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them (Mk.11:24). And if that is not sufficient to kindle expectation and arouse faith, consider this: “If two of you shall agree…as touching ANYTHING that they shall ask, it shall be done for them…” (Matt. 18:19).
In the words of J. Oswald Sanders: “Unbelief has always shackled omnipotence. Faith releases Might. And faith is not credulity, it is confidence. It rests its might on the divine warrant of the infallible Word. It joyously believes that to the God who “calls into existence the things that do not exist”, NOTHING is IMPOSSIBLE.” In whatever situation you presently are, as you focus on the Lord and hold on in expectation of divine intervention, deliverance and manifestation, you will not be disappointed and your triumph and testimony will be total in Jesus name!

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
