FAITH EXPECTS THE BEST

Bible Meditation:
Daniel 6: 1-28

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose – Romans 8:28

FAITH expects the BEST! It is time to conduct a check on your expectation. What’s your expectation? The nature of your expectation is a reflection of your faith and what it would produce. God has plans of victory for all aspects of your destiny. To walk in His victory plan, you must EXPECT THE BEST in every situation.

Although human nature usually expects the worst, the believer is not a mere human being. If you are born-again, you are a New Creation, with a new nature – the nature of God – the divine nature. “According as his DIVINE POWER hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the DIVINE NATURE, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust” (2 Peter 1:3-4). By the divine nature, you can expect and experience the best!

Faith expects the best. Doubt expects the worst. You are a Believer, not a Doubter! Many allow themselves to be tormented by thinking about what could happen. And many times, the worst that was expected never actually materializes.

Daniel dared to expect God’s best. He expected the best when he determined – at great risk to his life – not to contaminate himself with the King’s delicacies (Dan.1:8). Many times in the Journey of Destiny, Daniel was faced with evil circumstances, oppositions and life-threatening situations, but he successfully walked in the Victory of Faith, always expecting the best! While King Darius who didn’t know God had a restless night and anticipated the worst, Daniel slept soundly because he trusted in God in the seemingly hopeless situation. Thrown in the midst of a hungry pack of lions, Daniel expected the best and stayed calm and peaceful, knowing that the enemy never catches God by surprise! Are you presently passing through tough times of trials and challenges? What is your faith expectation? Faith always expects the best!

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
