Hebrews 11: 8-12

“...She bore a child when she was past the age, because SHE JUDGED HIM FAITHFUL who had PROMISED” – Hebrews 11:11b

God’s Faithfulness is the Anchor of FAITH for IMPACT: “By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because SHE JUDGED HIM FAITHFUL who had PROMISED” (Heb.11:11). This scripture passage highlights the impactful nature of faith, primarily through the examples of Abraham and Sarah. First, it recounts how Abraham, "by faith," obeyed God's call to leave his native land and journey to a promised land. Next, it showcases how Sarah, despite being past childbearing age, conceived through faith, considering God as One who always keeps His promises. Both cases prove that true faith is rooted in trusting God's Character to fulfill His word, even when circumstances seem impossible, and they highlight the core concept of faith as relying on God's faithfulness.

The Word declares that Sarah counted God faithful to His Word to her. Her situation highlights that faith often operates in situations beyond our comprehension, requiring complete trust in God's plan. Impactful Faith always judges God faithful to fulfill His Word. His Faithfulness is the foundation of Faith for God-glorying Impact. There is no Faith without the Faithfulness of God. Impactful Faith counts God faithful and true to fulfil every of His Word. The very moment the question of God’s Faithfulness or Integrity is adequately and correctly answered, Faith becomes real and tangible. True Faith hinges on the surety of God’s Faithfulness or Integrity. God is honest and trustworthy; He means what He says and says what He means. Psalm 36:5 says, “Your steadfast love, O Lord, extends to the heavens, Your Faithfulness to the clouds.”

That God is Faithful means that He is reliable and true to His promises, which is the foundation for Authentic Faith. Both Abraham and Sarah exemplify a faith that wasn't just passive belief, but active trust and obedience to God's command, even when the outcome was unclear and when faced with seemingly insurmountable odds. True Faith involves not just believing in God's promises, but actively responding to them, even when the path ahead is uncertain, ultimately leading to a life that reflects God's Will and brings about significant transformation.

Times when we face challenges are times to reflect on God’s past Faithfulness. Seasons when circumstances seem difficult are seasons to hold onto the truth of His Word, believing that He will act according to His promises. Abraham's unwavering trust in God, despite the unknown, and Sarah’s judgement of God’s Faithfulness, led to significant actions and ultimately, a Legacy of Faith that continues to inspire generations. When we truly believe in God's Faithfulness, our lives can bring about meaningful change and demonstrate His goodness to the world.

The Faith of Abraham and Sarah not only impacted their own lives but paved the way for multitudes of descendants, illustrating the ripple effect of a life lived by Faith in God’s Faithfulness!

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
