FAITH FOR IMPACT (7)

“Through whom also we have ACCESS by FAITH into this GRACE in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the Glory of God” – Romans 5:2

GRACE is the divine product of the LIFE of FAITH for IMPACT: “Therefore, having been justified by FAITH, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have ACCESS by FAITH into this GRACE in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the Glory of God” (Rom.5:1-2). This scripture speaks to the core of Christian Faith – that through Faith in Jesus Christ, we receive God’s Grace, which grants us Peace with God and access to His Presence. As a result, we can stand confidently in His Favour and rejoice in the Hope of His Glory. In essence, our Faith is like the conduit for the transformative power of God’s Grace in our lives, which necessarily impacts on others.

Faith is Destiny’s Doorway. It is our Access into Grace, our link with Righteousness, our connection with Realms of Divinity, and the Divine Usher into our Glorious Destiny in Christ! Without Faith, there’s no reconciliation or relationship with God – with His Peace, His Presence or His Grace! Without Faith, there’s no salvation or redemption. Without Faith, there is no standing in Hope of eternal Glory. Every lifting, rising, shining, and positive impact in God’s Kingdom is traceable to Faith in Him. Faith is a Law of the Spirit, validated by the Word of God, to which lesser natural laws bow: “Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? No, but by the LAW of FAITH” (Rom.3:27).

Faith is our sure Access to Grace: “Through whom also we have access by FAITH into this GRACE...” (v.2). Faith paves the way to Grace: “For by GRACE you have been saved through FAITH...” (Eph.2:8a). God’s Grace always answers to Faith. Grace has been provided by the finished works of Jesus on Calvary; that is, all grace for all people and for all time! God has already concluded on and provided everything humanity will ever need through the crucifixion, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. However, it takes Faith to access this grace!

Apart from providing access into God’s Grace and Goodness, Faith has the potential to usher us into the Grace that’ll love and influence others significantly and bring about positive change in our world. Faith is our unshaking stability: “...For by Faith your stand” (2Cor.1:24). By Faith we are anchored on Christ, the Solid Rock. We’re rooted and grounded in God by Faith. Nothing moves Faith because Faith is the mover of all things. Faith in God will anchor us on the unshifting ground of His infallible Word that lived and abide forever. Faith is the oxygen for the Believer without which there is no life. Faith is our vital leverage for a life and walk of Faith; our life of Faith; and our Walk is off Faith.
