THE FAITH-LIFE

Now the just shall LIVE BY FAITH: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him – Hebrews 10:38

God is a God of Faith. Faith is in the character and nature of God. Faith is God’s Lifestyle.

God lives faith. God walks faith. God speaks faith. Faith is the Lifestyle of He who calls the things that are not as though they were. Faith is the attitude of the Creator who saw darkness and declared Light, who sees death and declares Life!

We become what we were born to be only when we are “born-again” by faith in Christ Jesus. Beyond the New Birth, God expects every child of His to live as He lives – BY FAITH. If you are a child of God, you are expected to live to please God – to live by faith. Outside of faith, there is no life. Living by Faith implies dying without faith! If the just refuses to live by faith, he or she begins to die in degrees.

Faith is not an elective course in the University of Life. Faith is not an option; it is an Obligation: “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him” (Heb.11:6). Without faith, it is not just difficult, but impossible to please God! Faith brings God pleasure. On the contrary, inability to take God at His Word gives Him displeasure. The Bible says repeatedly: “The just shall LIVE BY FAITH” (Hab.2:4; Rom.1:17; Gal.3:11; Heb.10:38). Why should you find it difficult to believe God, yet you so easily believe men? A true Christian – a Believer – is one who believes God!

We are saved by Faith (Eph.2:8).
We stand by Faith (2Cor.1:24).
We walk by Faith (2Cor.5:7).
We are healed by Faith (Mt.9:27-29).
We are shielded by Faith (Eph.6:16)
We live by Faith (Hab.2:4; Heb.10:38).
We overcome the world by Faith (1Jh.5:4).

Faith is the vital spiritual connection between you and God that ensures the unlimited manifestation of His Purpose and Plan for your life. Have you chosen the Faith-Life? Are you ready to stand, walk and live according to God’s Kind of Life?
