FAITH: VISION OF THE INVISIBLE

Bible Meditation:
Isaiah 6: 1-5.

By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing Him who is invisible – Hebrews 11:27

FAITH is the EYE to see the UNSEEN. Mortal eyes are too weak to perceive “the King eternal, immortal, INVISIBLE” (1Tim.1:17). Without the eyes of faith, the reality of the Invisible God may seem like mere fantasy or theory to some people. Isaiah, by the eyes of the spirit, saw the thrice-holy God and his life and ministry were permanently transformed. Moses through the eyes of faith saw Him who is INVISIBLE and generations unborn were impacted by his unique encounter.

FAITH is the VISION of the INVISIBLE. That something is invisible does not mean it is non-existent. Air, electricity, magnetic waves, winds, bacteria and other germs are ‘invisible’ to the natural eyes; yet their reality is no longer questioned. How much more the realities of the Spirit realm! We cannot talk about VISION and be silent on FAITH. Faith has two spiritual components: SIGHT and SUBSTANCE. Faith is neither blind nor empty. Faith is not blind presumption or empty wishful thinking: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1).

Faith is SPIRITAUL SUBSTANCE with SPIRITUAL EVIDENCE. Faith sees by the eyes of the spirit what the physical eyes are yet to behold. Faith is the assurance of a desired expectation. It is the conviction of the certainty of something which the spiritual sense has perceived, even though the physical senses are yet to see, hear, touch or feel it. When an expectation is invisible to the eyes of man or impossible to his senses, faith brings it into spiritual focus and calls it a REALITY.

Faith gives substance to your expectation, hope or vision. Faith is the vision of the invisible. God has given us faith, to bridge the gap between our expectations, our visions and their realisation.

Vision comes by faith; faith stays alive by vision. Faith substantiates vision; and vision sustains faith. Vision sees the end of faith, bringing it to the present tense – FAITH IS...

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
