“How unsearchable are His judgments and HIS WAYS PAST FINDING OUT!” – Romans 11:33b
Believers in Christ have the privilege of FINDING GOD’S WAYS: “Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and HIS WAYS PAST FINDING OUT!” (Rom.11:33). Paul had concluded a complex discussion of God's unique relationship with Israel as a nation and with her people as individuals. He had compared and contrasted God's actions toward Israel with His actions toward the Gentiles. He concluded in verse 32 by declaring that both groups had disobeyed and that God will show mercy to everyone in response to their faith in Christ.
Paul proceeded to deliver a poetic, hymn-like praise of God and His amazing wisdom. He expressed his profound reaction both to God's Ways and to His mercy to sinful humanity (vv.33-36). He marvelled at the depth of God's Wisdom, Knowledge, and Judgements! Earlier in this letter, Paul had written about the riches of God's goodness and patience that leads to repentance (Rom. 2:4); “the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy” (Rom. 9:23); and His riches of mercy for the world (Rom.11:12). Now, Paul was awed by the depth of God's Wisdom, in making mercy available to all people through faith in Christ; followed by His deep knowledge; His unfathomable judgements; and finally, “His ways past finding out!” (v.33).
In essence, human beings simply lack the capacity to understand why God decides what He does. His ways are inscrutable, like a code that He alone can break! The Unquestionable God retains the right to do as He will when it comes to showing mercy or not to human beings, because we do not have the capacity to fully understand His thoughts, values, choices, and decisions – His Ways. As limited, created people, we are incapable to fully grasp the Mind of God. The proper response, when we realize how beyond our comprehension He is, is praise and worship: simply yield to Him and worship Him.
Nonetheless, we must find out God’s Ways in order to follow Him and walk with Him - certainly not be by self-effort, power or might; but by His Spirit – by Revelation: “But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” But God has REVEALED them to us THROUGH HIS SPIRIT. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God” (1Cor.2: 9-11).
At such times when we are wondering if we are on the right path; when it seems we have far more questions than answers; when we ponder is things are working, if we should keep going, turn around, or go back, God is willing that we find His Way: “He will be very gracious to you at the sound of your cry; when He hears it, He will answer you…your teachers will not be moved into a corner anymore, but your eyes shall see your teachers. Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” Whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left” (Isa. 30: 19b-21).
Before His ascension, Jesus promised to send us a Helper who would always be with us (Jh.16:7). The Holy Spirit is only a prayer away! When we are faced with life’s puzzling questions, we must seek God's Word as Lamp to guide our feet and Light for our path (Psa.119:105). With a heart that’s ready to listen and obey, the Holy Spirit will lead guide us to all truth (Jh.16:13). He’ll lead us away from sin (Gal.5:16), to our purpose and God’s Will (Lk.4:18; Psa.143:10). God will not show us His entire plan for our lives, but one step at a time. We really don't need all the answers right away, but just enough light for our feet and illumination for FINDING GOD’S WAY!

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
