FRESHNESS

I will open rivers in desolate heights, and fountains in the midst of the valleys; I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water – Isaiah 41: 18

The Mind of my Father-God in this New Year is not only Newness, but FRESHNESS! By His Wisdom, Mercy, and Favour, my world is not meant to be static, but dynamic, continually renewed, and fresh. Even the physical and human worlds are not static; every part of creation is either in motion, vibration or revolution! Only the dead are static or worse still, in decay, degradation, and degeneration – what we might term, ‘negative motion’! All creation is in motion, and “all things” are upheld “by the word of His power” (Heb.11:3). All things – including your life and my life – are upheld, sustained, renewed, and refreshed by the WORD of His Power. This means that: the boundaries, brilliance and beauty of your world depend on the extent of His Word you admit and permit to renew, sustain, and rule over your life!

The “WORD of His Power” is able to give Life to the dead, and to make the decaying and dying to blossom with Fresh Life. When God wants to renew your world, to revive your soul, or to refresh your life, what He sends is His Word, on the Wings of His Spirit. For “all things” in your world to be made fresh, there must be a fresh, proceeding Word from God: “Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” Whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left” (Isa.30:21; Mt.4:4). God’s Word enlivens your spirit so you can receive from His Spirit (1Cor.2:9-16). His WORD reveals His WILL, shows His WAYS and releases His WISDOM for Winning in life!

The Word renews your mind in order to refresh and transform your world for maximized impact. Are you satisfied with the present “state” of your world or do you crave for dynamic, positive, and progressive changes? You cannot afford to leave the world as you met it, but make it better. Everyone made in the Image and Likeness of God was made to be a “Change-Agent” but for you to impact others, your own life must first be refreshed! Only a fresh Word from the Lord can renew, reconstruct, re-create, reinvigorate, and refresh your world. Here is how to seek God’s Fresh Word for a Fresh Life:

“The poor and needy seek water, but there is none, their tongues fail for thirst. I, the Lord, will hear them; I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them.  I will open rivers in desolate heights, and fountains in the midst of the valleys; I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water. I will plant in the wilderness the cedar and the acacia tree, the myrtle and the oil tree; I will set in the desert the cypress tree and the pine and the box tree together, that they may see and know, and consider and understand together, that the hand of the Lord has done this, and the Holy One of Israel has created it (Is.41:17-20)! He will “HEAR…OPEN…MAKE…PLANT…SET…” in order “to give you an expected end” and bring you to your “desired haven” (Jer.29:11; Psa.107:30). How hungry are you for His Word? How thirsty are you for His Spirit?
