FULLNESS OF THE WORD, SPIRIT AND LIFE

“It is the SPIRIT who gives LIFE; the flesh profits nothing. The WORDS that I speak to you are SPIRIT, and they are LIFE”– John 6:63

Welcome to APRIL – our Month of the Fullness of the WORD, SPIRIT and LIFE. The Lord Jesus Christ declared: “It is the SPIRIT who gives LIFE; the flesh profits nothing. The WORDS that I speak to you are SPIRIT, and they are LIFE” (Jh.6:63). Interestingly, this was our Key Verse for the Year 2018, and it pleases God that we so soon revisit it, thus underlining the significance of God’s Word and Spirit, and the Life that derives from both. God’s Words are Life: “they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh” (Pro.4:22). His Spirit also is Life. Romans 8:2 refers to “the law of the SPIRIT of LIFE in Christ Jesus”! One can then imagine the immeasurable dimension of Life produced by the synergy of the Word and the Spirit! The two are eternally united in purpose and power – to ensure that John 10:10b is fulfilled: “…I have come that they may have LIFE, and that they may have it more abundantly!”

The WORD and the SPIRIT are the creative and Life-giving Persons of the Almighty. From the very beginning, the Spirit and the Word anchored creation: “…the SPIRIT of God moved upon the face of the waters…And God SAID…” (Gen.1:3-4). Nothing divine ever gets performed without the Spirit and the Word! It is the pattern of the Almighty God to speak His living Words to redeem, save, cleanse, deliver, heal, defend, protect, sustain, guide, and guard, and to call into creative existence all that He purposes. The Spirit of God will in turn always confirm His Words. As we commence another series in our prophetic adventure, there shall be a Heart-to heart communication of the Fullness God’s Words into our lives. The Fullness of God’s Spirit shall in turn tabernacle upon our lives, to continually reveal, confirm, and perform the Will of the Word. The Fullness of Life shall thus be our portions.

It is because Christ’s Words are Spirit and Life that they never return to Him void: “So will the words that come out of my mouth not come back empty-handed. They’ll do the work I sent them to do, they’ll complete the assignment I gave them” (Isa.55:11, MSG).

His Word of Righteousness will work in you and complete the assignment of perfecting the Righteousness of God in you.

His Word and Spirit of Sanctification will work in you and complete the assignment of perfecting you in holiness.

His Word and Spirit of Faith will work in you and complete the assignment of perfecting you in the Lifestyle of Victory.

His Word and Spirit of Power will work in you and complete the assignment of perfecting you in the Supernatural.

His Word and Spirit of Healing and Health will work in you and complete the assignment of perfecting your health.

His Word of Material Prosperity will work for you and complete the assignment of perfecting your finances.

When you are born again, it is by the same Word that carries divine life: “having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the Word of God which lives and abides forever” (1Pet.1:23). The Word of God is indestructible, and when you abide in Christ – in the Word – you are by extension untouchable to the elemental forces of this wicked world. Everything that emanates from the Word carries the life of God in it. Everything about the true believer in Christ has been touched by divine energy, and is being preserved by the life and power of God that’s at work in us. Beloved, cherish the Word, deepen intimacy with the Spirit, and consciously live the supernatural life every day. This is your right and portion as a Child of the King of kings!
