HE SHALL COVER YOU with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge… – Psalm 91: 4a
Whoever is covered by the Almighty God is FULLY COVERED! In Christ, I am comprehensively and completely covered. In Him my life is insured and my destiny secured. My life “is hid with Christ in God” (Col.3:3). The moment I received Christ, a canopy of protection was stretched out over my life. I am fully covered by the Blood of Jesus. This truth is pictured in the description of the Passover (Ex. 12:21-27). While the children of Israel were preparing to flee Egypt, a spirit of death was released against the firstborn of the land. The only protection for Israel was the shed blood of a spotless lamb on the doorposts of their dwellings. If the blood was in place, they were spared. In the New Testament, we are fully covered the Blood! Today, Christ is our Passover Lamb (1 Cor. 5:7). His blood keeps us safe and secure. This is the glorious work of the cross in our lives and the inheritance of every believer.
We must be conscious of divine covering in these last days as never before; because the devil is targeting the health, resources, well-being, and overall fulfilment of destinies of individuals, marriages, families, churches. This present world seems ready to erupt under the mounting pressures of natural and spiritual threats. The tensions of terrorism and cataclysmic disasters are merely echoes of dark, demonic forces that the old Serpent and our ancient adversary is relentlessly leveraging against humanity during the short time he has (Rev. 12:12). Despite the dangers, God's people can live with an unwavering confidence in the safety of His protection. Psalm 91:4 reassures us, “He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge.” This was prophesied of Benjamin: “The beloved of the Lord shall dwell in safety by Him, who shelters him all the day long…” (Dt.33:12a). When we connect with His covering, we don't have to fear the turmoil of the times.
Another glimpse of the covering power of the blood is found in the story of Rahab (Josh. 2). She knew it was inevitable that Israel would prevail against Jericho. So with legendary faith, she requested and received protection during the invasion. The key to her protection was a red cord hanging from her window, representing the blood of Christ. Though Jericho was destroyed, her family was spared through the provision of the crimson cord. There's a common thread of truth in these examples of Christ's provision: Spiritual covering for God's people depends completely upon proper positioning. Even though a promise of safety was given, only those who were in place were safe. Had the Israelites left their homes during Passover and had Rahab been anywhere but behind the crimson cord, they would not have been covered. The same is true of Noah and his family during the flood. Position is important. The psalmist wrote, “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty” (Ps. 91:1). The best umbrella is useless in a rainstorm unless you are under it!
Although full covering is present and available in Christ, it is delivered to us in two broad ways: by Prayer and through divinely-appointed relationships. It takes constant intercession with the shield of faith to quench the fiery attacks of Satan (Eph. 6:16,18). Prayer shield provides covering for the believer’s life. Prayer activates the heavenly host (Ps. 34:6-7); erects a hedge of protection around us (Job 1:5,9-11) and seals the gaps through which the enemy tries to gain access to our lives (Ez. 22:30). As for divine appointed relationships, the covering over every home speaks of family relationships; while that over every assembly speaks of the local church: “The Lord will create above every dwelling place of Mount Zion, and above her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day and the shining of a flaming fire by night. For over all the glory there will be a covering ... for shade in the daytime from the heat, for a place of refuge, and for a shelter from storm and rain” (Isa.4:5-6).

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
