“BY THIS MY FATHER is GLORIFIED, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples” – John 15:8
In this last month of the Year of God-glorifying Impact, we shall be GLORIFYING the GOD of IMPACT: “BY THIS MY FATHER is GLORIFIED, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples” (John 15:8). This month is all about God and His Glory! The Almighty God, our Father, is the God of Impact. He is the Vine; we are the branches. And, He says, “without Me you can do nothing” (v.5b). That we can make Impact in various aspects of life, is because we were made in the Image and likeness of the God of Impact (Gen.1:6-28). Every positive human impact derives from the reality of Divine Impact. Indeed, the concept of "God of Impact" is understood through the call for believers to be agents of His transformative power in the world.
God's “Impact” can be seen in His Attributes of Omnipotence, Omniscience, and Omnipresence, which enable Him to not only create and control, but also to interact with and profoundly transform the lives of His people and entire creation. By His Grace, and based on His mandate in Matthew 5:13-16, we have devoted the last eleven months of year 2025 to meditating on: God-glorifying Impact; Insight for Impact; Divine Intimacy for Impact; Ingredients and Drivers of Impact; Divine Power for Impact; Bible Models of Impact; Lifestyles and Skills for Impact; Impact by the Book and books; Personal and Professional Impact; Family and Parental Impact; and Ministry and Leadership Impact. Now is the Season to celebrate the God of Impact!
The concept of "glorifying the God of Impact" is reflected in numerous scriptures that emphasize allowing our lives and deeds to point others to God's Character and Power. As Believers in Christ, our actions and transformation should lead others to honour God – the Source of all good works and power. Here are two key scriptures related to glorifying God:
“Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, DO ALL to the GLORY of GOD” (1 Cor.10:31). This implies taking every action and step with the purpose of honouring God, transforming ordinary acts like eating and drinking into acts of worship. This calls for living with intentionality, considering the effects of our choices on others, and to bring honour to God.
“Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul, having your CONDUCT honorable among the Gentiles, that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may, by your GOOD WORKS which they observe, GLORIFY GOD in the day of visitation” (1 Pet.2:11-12). This highlights the importance of allowing our good deeds and honorable conduct to be a visible testament to God's work. Welcome to the Season of Glorifying the God of Impact!

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
