…Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, a stone – John 1:42
“Simon Barjona was a simple fisherman whose life revolved round ships, family and his business partners. Simon by character was an inconsistent, unstable man: a man who blows hot and cold at the same time; a man you would not want as a business partner on a bad day at sea. Nonetheless, Andrew introduced Simon to this remarkable man – Jesus of Nazareth. As Jesus beheld him, he had a flash of inspiration: ‘this man should not be tossed about by the wind and the waves of the sea, this man is a STONE – stable, strong, dependable, a man to be entrusted with the mysteries of God’.
On that day Jesus of Nazareth was introduced to Simon, he was called by a new name, PETER. Simon Peter on that day discovered his purpose. He went on to become an apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ – an ambassador of the kingdom of Heaven, a preacher and a teacher of the Word of God. God’s revealed purpose was too compelling to allow Simon to become inconsistent after this encounter. This leads us to the second principle of discovering purpose. Your purpose is only established through a RELATIONSHIP with the Lord Jesus Christ.”

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
