Bible Meditation:
Isaiah 43: 1-7

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you…” – Isaiah 43:2a

How effectively we abide in GOD’S CIRCLE of BLESSINGS is determined by our attitude to His Word: When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you” (Isa.43:2). God’s Word generates Faith to believe in His blessings, rather than in the threats of situations or symptoms (Rom.10:17). We can choose to believe evil reports of the devil and the world, or in God’s Circle of Blessings. We must avoid puncturing this Circle with negative confessions, doubt, or fear. We become what we think habitually and confess consistently. We safeguard our circle with our words because words set spiritual laws in motion. Our hearts define our destinies; our tongues frame our future.

The Living Bible Translation of Psalm 25:13 says, “He shall live within GOD’S CIRCLE of BLESSING, and his children shall inherit the earth.” This referred to the person who reverences God. Other scriptures illustrate this Circle. Psalm 34:7 says, “The angel of the Lord ENCAMPS ALL AROUND those who fear Him, and delivers them.” Psalm 91:4b says, “His truth shall be your shield and buckler.” The Hebrew word for buckler describes a piece of armour that totally surrounds its wearer. God promised Zion: “Then the Lord will create above every dwelling place of Mount Zion, and above her assembles, a cloud and smoke by day and the shining of a flaming fire by night. For OVER ALL the GLORY there will be a covering” (Isa.4:5). God assured Jerusalem: “I…will be a wall of fire AROUND HER, and I will be the glory in her midst” (Zec.2:5).

Though we live in a fear-filled world, we must keep fear out of our Circle of Blessing: “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God” (Isa.41:10a). A mind that is renewed by the Word of God is a blessed mind, fortified to be the platform for the Blessed Life. The world’s media are saturated with fearful news, but we must avoid and resist the temptation to FEED on FEAR! Instead, we must spend time depositing His words in our hearts, while in His Secret Place. Then fear will be far from us: “You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday” (Psa.91: 5-6).

We can live in God’s Circle of Blessings by keeping the ears of our heart open to His Word, and thankfully receiving the Word by Faith as personal promises from God to us. Speaking His Word over our lives brings us in agreement with Him. We are to consistently declare God’s Circle of Blessings. David said, “I will say of the Lord….” (Psa.91:2a). It makes sense to take God as our Refuge, Fortress and Protector the same way we confess Him as our Saviour and Healer! We can say, “The Lord is my Refuge,” like we said, “He is my Saviour”!

Confession releases our Faith. Declaring God’s Words gives Him place in our lives. It positions us appropriately in His Covenant Protection. The spirit of faith is not silent. It believes and speaks. Living in the Circle of Blessings entails declaring the reality of that Circle over all members of our families, every area of our lives, every day. We can declare with David: “But You, O Lord, are a SHIELD for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head” (Psa.3:3). We choose to stay in God’s Circle of Blessings, living in His Word and resting on His Grace!

Beloved, see yourself living in God’s Circle of Blessings – encircled with His Protective Power, Presence, and Glory. The pillar of cloud leading the children of Israel moved from the front to the back, acting as their rear guard (Exo.14:19). We’re guarded from the front. We’re guarded from the back. In Christ, we’re guarded on every side!

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
