GOD’S FAITH-FULL HEART

“And was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged Him FAITHFUL who had promised” – Hebrews 11:11b

The revelation of GOD’S FAITH-FULL HEART provides a firm foundation for our Faith: “Through FAITH also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged Him FAITHFUL who had promised” (Heb.11:11). God is Faith-full. There is no real Faith outside of His Faithfulness. This is the foundation for Bible Faith as against natural human faith. God’s faithfulness is the basis for Heart faith in contrast to head faith. Real Faith flows from God’s Heart to the hearts of the New Creations in Christ Jesus, who have been born-again and have received the Gift of Salvation by Faith (Eph.2:8-9). The Faith of God belongs to whosoever is born of Him and is the Victory that overcomes the world (1Jh.5:4).

God’s Heart is full of Faith. God lives Faith, walks Faith, and speaks Faith. Faith is God’s Lifestyle and His commanded lifestyle for every Believer: “Now the just shall LIVE BY FAITH: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him” (Heb.10:38). Faith is the attitude of the Creator who saw darkness and declared Light, who sees death and declares Life: “who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not eist as though they did” (Rom.4:17b). Through His Word, the Faith-full God willingly reveals who He is, what His plans are, and what He requires of us. As we come to see and know Him more intimately, He urges, “Trust Me”!

Faith is absolute trust in God, birthed by the Revelation of His Faithfulness and the Integrity of His Word. Biblical Faith counts God faithful and true to fulfil every of His word: “GOD is FAITHFUL...” (1Cor.1:9); “He who calls you is FAITHFUL, who also will do it” (1The.5:24); “But the Lord is FAITHFUL, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one” (2The.3:3). God always means what He says and says what He means: “But as GOD is FAITHFUL, our word to you was not Yes or No…For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us” (2Cor.1:20).

Faith is the sixth sense – the sense of our spirit – which enables us to remain at rest even when life doesn’t seem to make sense. Faith is the bulwark that keeps us strong when assailed by Satan’s darts and raises us above circumstances. Faith is the divine Link connecting limited Man to Unlimited God; the God-given Bridge to reach up to Him; to experience His manifold Grace and bountiful blessings. Faith is the vital connection with God for the manifestation of His Purpose, Plan, and Power. Without faith, it is impossible to please God (Heb.11:1). Because His Heart is Faith-full – full of Faith – Faith comes by hearing the Word of God (Rom.10:17).

Faith is a key Kingdom Principle, not an elective in the University of Life. Faith is a Must: “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him” (Heb.11:6). Faith is a must if victory is our dream. Faith is a must if triumph is our thirst. Faith is a must if glory is our goal! Faith is a must for the God-kind of Life! Every lifting, rising and shining in God’s Kingdom is traceable to Faith in God – the Faith of God! Faith never leans on the failing arm of flesh (Jer.17:5). Faith never trusts in horses or chariots, but in “the name of the LORD our God” (Psa.20:7).

God empowers us with and demands us to exercise Faith in Him, as distinct from natural human confidence. All human beings have some natural faith, but at the new birth, a measure of supernatural Faith is injected from God’s Heart into ours, first for salvation, and then for other blessings and gifts from above: justification, sanctification, deliverance, healing, holiness, protection, provisions, prosperity, promotion, riches, success, wholeness, wisdom and wealth. God’s Heart is Faith-full!
