“For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; with FAVOR You will surround him as with a shield” – Psalm 5:12
Unprecedented liftings in life are traceable to GOD’S WORDS of FAVOUR: “For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; with FAVOR You will surround him as with a shield” (Psa.5:12). Favour is the divine flow of God’s Goodness and Mercy: “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life…” (Psa.23:6a). The righteous soul is a peculiar target of God’s favour; and a subject of continual blessing. Like a shield, God’s favour will crown such, preserving them in all places, times, and circumstances. Favour is the divine current that carries us from our present season into our future dreams. As it was for Joseph, favour is the golden river that carries the rejected from the pit to the palace (Gen.37: 26-28; 39:1-6, 41:39).
Favour is uncommon Divine Interest: It is God giving you singular attention and undivided audience (Ps.40:1-3). Favour is when God identifies and hand-picks a person from a crowd, like Jesus did for the man with the long-standing infirmity of thirty-eight years by the pool of Bethesda (Jh.5:1-6). Favour is God’s scent, aroma or flavour upon the Christian’s life. It ensures a life devoid of unnecessary rigour, regimentation, and drudgery. The Flavour of Favour makes the difference. Every time God breathes on the throne, Favour oozes out of Him! Favour is the divine lever that lifts the pauper from the dunghill and propels him to sit with princes and nobles: “He raises the poor out of the dust, and lifts the needy out of the ash heap” (Psa.113:7). Favour is God’s special allocation of goodness to His beloved – We, His Favoured!
God’s Words of Favour are words of Life. They guarantee an end to weeping and trigger the overflow of Joy: “For His anger is but for a moment, HIS FAVOR IS FOR LIFE; weeping may endure for a night, but JOY comes in the morning” (Psa.30:5). Favour is also a Divine Elevator: “Lord, by Your favor You have made my mountain stand strong; You hid Your face, and I was troubled” (Psa.30:7). When God hides His face; it is trouble. But you are favoured when God’s “Face” shines upon you for a radical life transformation: “And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: “Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the way you shall bless the children of Israel. Say to them: “The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace” ’ (Num.6: 22-26).
When the Lord has determined your Time or Season of Favour, His Face shines upon you, and no force of hell can debar Him. David affirmed and prayed: “My times are in Your hand; deliver me from the hand of my enemies, and from those who persecute me. Make Your face shine upon Your servant; save me for Your mercies’ sake” (Psa.31: 15-16). Favour is a special package of divine goodness laid up for those who fear Him: “Oh, how great is Your goodness, which You have laid up for those who fear You, which You have prepared for those who trust in You in the presence of the sons of men!” (Psa.31:19). Again, the Psalmist expressed these encouraging words of Favour: “You will arise and have mercy on Zion; for the TIME to FAVOR her, Yes, the set time, has come” (Psa.102:13). May we never miss our Time of Favour, in Jesus name!
Favour is the divine lubricant that smooths the way to our blessings. Favour removes undue tension from our lives. A moment of God’s Favour will do for us than a lifetime of striving. Favour bends seasons, and situations for our good (Rom.8:28). God satisfies us with Favour, that we may possess our possessions: “And of Naphtali he said: “O Naphtali, satisfied with favor, and full of the blessing of the LORD, possess the west and the south” (Deut.33:23). Favour answered to Joseph, Ruth, Esther, Mordecai and Daniel in strange lands. May God’s Favour always answer to us, in Jesus name!

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
