Bible Meditation:
Psalm 12: 1-8

The words of the LORD are PURE WORDS: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times – Psalm 12:6

The words of men often overflow with vanity, profanity, flattery, falsehood, and pride, but GOD’S WORDS ARE PURE:The words of the LORD are PURE WORDS: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times(Psa.12:6). This shows the glaring contrast between the vain words of man and Jehovah’s pure, trustworthy, and perfect words. Gold and silver need to be refined to release their brightness and display their splendour; but God’s Word is purity itself. It reflects the holiness of God’s character and dominion; requiring and leading to purity of heart and life. It is particularly important for believers to accept and believe that the Bible is the pure word and words of God – free from human error and defilement!

Man's words are yea and nay, but the Lord's promises are yea and amen (2Cor.1:20). God’s words are certain, faithful, holy, true, and pure as well refined silver “tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times” (v.6).This is an allusion to the most rigorous purifying process known to the ancients, through which silver was passed when the greatest possible purity was desired; the dross was all consumed, and only the bright and precious metal remained! So clear and free from all alloy of error or corruption are God’s words. The Bible has passed through the furnace of persecution, literary criticism, philosophic doubt, and scientific discovery, and has lost nothing but those human interpretations which clung to it as alloy to precious ore. The experience of saints has tried the Word in every conceivable manner, but not a single doctrine or promise has been consumed in the most excessive heat.

God is pure in every way; hence, the words He speaks are ever pure: “the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes” (Psa.19:8b). Psalm 119:140 says: “Your word is VERY PURE: therefore Your servant loves it.” The purity of God’s word should motivate believers to love it. But, how much do we really love His word? How much time do we spend in it on a daily basis? Do we meditate on its contents day and night as instructed (Psa.1:2)? To obliterate all doubt as to which words are being referring to, Proverbs 30:5a says pointedly: “EVERY WORD of God is pure.” The world and its satanic and humanistic systems want us to believe that the Bible is defiled, but God says otherwise. His Word in its entirety is without any foreign substance that would defile.

God’s pure and perfect words are the Source of His perfect Love. We learn of the greatest love of Jesus as we read God’s Word. The songwriters say: “Jesus loves me, this I know, for the Bible tells me so” and “I am so glad that my Father in heaven tells of His love in the Book He has given. Wonderful things in the Bible I see. This is the greatest that Jesus loves me.” In our journey along “the High Way of Holiness”, the Word of God is our pure and trustworthy guide (Isa.35:8). And, what God's words are, the words of His children should be. If we would be Godlike in conversation, we must watch our words, mind our language, and maintain the strictest purity of integrity and holiness in all our communications. By His Grace, we can operate in the domain of God’s Pure Words!

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
