GOD’S WORDS OF FAITH

Bible Meditation:
Romans 10: 5-17

The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the WORD of FAITH which we preach)Romans 10: 8b

All of God’s blessings and resources are released via the WORDS of FAITH: But what does it say? “THE WORD is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the WORD of FAITH which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Rom.10:8-10). Here, we see that the divinely ordained means of Salvation is the preaching of the WORD of FAITH .That’s how fundamental Faith is to the reality of Redemption and every other aspect of the Christian’s testimony. Verse 17 says: So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God! Plain and simple! There is no other way! That’s why Faith is not inherited – Faith is personal!

Faith – pistis, in Greek – infers belief, trust, confidence, fidelity or faithfulness. Faith is to believe that God is who He says He is. Faith for salvation comes by hearing the Word of Faith on Salvation. The same is true for sanctification, healing, deliverance, provisions, prosperity, protection, and other divine blessings and heavenly resources. Faith is God’s Lifestyle. That’s why “without faith, it is impossible to please God” (Heb.11:6a). Faith is the only way prescribed for the just to live: “the just shall live by his faith” (Hab.2:4b; Rom.1:17b). Living with faith stirred up – Living Faith – is absolutely foundational to living an abundant and victorious life. Faith is the Victory that overcomes the world (1Jh.5:4). God is faithful no matter what. Faith allows us to rest in His faithfulness, producing unique peace and the needed sense of calm in the midst of challenges.

Scripture offers us every truth we need to live a lifestyle of faith. Within its pages are powerful stories describing the amazing works of a God who remained faithful to a people who chose pride, selfishness, and rebellion over His perfect, loving ways. It also contains incredible moments where God’s people responded to His faithfulness with faith and were greatly rewarded. The desire of God for us is to be children filled with his Life-giving and Faith-building words (Pro.4: 20-22). God longs for us to experience the joy, purpose, and peace of faith founded on His Word. He longs for us to live our lives with Scripture as a constant source of hope when the world seems to be crashing down around us. Our relationship with the Bible should not be like a boring assignment, but as a way to connect with God’s heart; a life-transforming encounter with His living words!

It is when we allow God’s Word to fill us with faith that we’ll discover the power of the Bible. Scripture has the power to lead us to a different way of living: the way of faith. Bible stories and testimonies guide us to trust the promises of God and lead us to always act on His Word. Ironically, we live in a world where, although it is profusely available in written form and via books, internet, television, radio, and social media, God’s Word is becoming increasingly unpopular. Many people in today’s world do not see the Gospel as priority in their lives. Access to the Bible is at the touch of a finger these days, yet many ignore it, and even reject its authority. Some talk a good talk but refuse to believe, read, study, share and obey the Word. But no one is without excuse for choosing to not believe and obey the Word. His manifestations are visible all over creation!

The faith for salvation, spiritual growth, and other blessings is produced by hearing and believing God’s Word. The gate to salvation is only opened through faith in the Word of God: “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God…” (Eph.2: 8-9a). God has a Word of Faith for every human condition, need or situation.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
