“And wisdom and knowledge shall be the STABILITY of your times, and strength of salvation…” – Isaiah 33:6a
In these days of global confusion, deception, and perplexity, we need GOD’S WORDS of STABILITY to survive and thrive: “The LORD is exalted; for He dwells on high; He hath filled Zion with justice and righteousness. Wisdom and knowledge will be the STABILITY of your times, and the strength of salvation; the fear of the LORD is His treasure” (Isa.33: 5-6). These encouraging words are as true today as they were when Isaiah prophesied more than two and a half millennia ago. We live in turbulent times that are personally perilous, economically uncertain, socially disruptive, and politically unstable. But God promises to give us insight and awareness, which will make us stable in unstable seasons.
In a time of flux, in which the only predictability is unpredictability, true stability is elusive. We live in an era of great advancements in almost every area of technology; but with every development that emerges, there seems to be a corresponding threat to lives and the environment. In times like these, godly wisdom will provide confidence and comfort, as well as guide and protect us from greater pitfalls. The fear of the LORD – reverential respect for God and what He wants us to do – will be a precious treasure in our life, creating a firm foundation for us to stand on, and be stable. When God’s Words become the baseline for our lives, we have a stable reference point that does not shift, no matter the circumstances.
Godly Wisdom and Knowledge will be the sound footing of our lives; our anchor in challenging times that give us understanding of events happening around so that we can know what to do and what decisions to make: “of the sons of Issachar who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do, their chiefs were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their command” (1Chr.12:32). God is calling and anointing from among His people, the likes of the sons of Issachar, who operate in Divine Stability in a world that’s reeling under the weights of woes, uncertainties, and fear.
God is the reliable Baseline, Foundation, and Stability that will make sense out of any confused and conflicted problem that arises in our lives. He is willing and able to make our mountains to stand strong: “LORD, by Your favour You have made my mountain to stand strong…” (Psa.30:7a). When we are planted, grounded, and standing strong and stable in Christ, all workers of wickedness who scheme to eat up our flesh will stumble and fall: “When the wicked came against me to eat up my flesh, my enemies and foes, they stumbled and fell” (Psa.27:2).
Peter, by personality trait, was like a feeble reed shaken by the wind; blown about by diverse influences, including Satan’s voice. Jesus on an occasion had to rebuke the devil that was speaking through Peter (Mt.16:21-23). Then, the Lord spoke into Peter’s destiny: “And I say also to you, that you are Peter, and upon this ROCK I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Mt.16:18b). Whatever God calls a person is who the person becomes. Through the release of God’s Words, unstable Peter was transformed into a rocky, dependable, solid, and stable apostle. The Words of Jesus transformed the reed into a rock; the fearful disciple who denied his Lord thrice into the powerful Apostle of Grace!
Paul wrote to the Ephesians and to all believers: “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to STAND against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this aged, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to WITHSTAND in the evil day, and having done all, to STAND” (Eph. 6: 10-13). God is simply saying to us: “Stand Strong”!

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
