“When He assigned to the sea its limit, so that the waters would not transgress His command…” – Proverbs 8:29a
The GOD of DIVINE ORDER is our God: “When He assigned to the sea its limit, so that the waters would not transgress His command, when He marked out the foundations of the earth” (v.29). Almighty God set strips of sand on foundations of earth, and commanded the waters of oceans and seas to not transgress. And He used wisdom in this grand design. Elsewhere, He boasted to Job of locking the waters in place with doors and bars (Job 38:8-11). David by inspiration wrote about the waters being heaped up with a boundary they cannot break (Psa.33:7; 104:9). And He spoke through the prophet Jeremiah that men should fear Him for His fantastic marvel of binding the oceans with a ribbon of sand, which they cannot pass over, no matter how much they toss and roar (Jer.5:22). That’s the God of Divine Order in manifestation!
Order has always been part of God’s Plan since creation: “Lift up your eyes on high, and see who has created these things Who brings out their host by number; He calls them all by name, by the greatness of His might and the strength of His power; not one is missing” (Isa. 40:26). When the heavens and earth were created they were organized in such a way that God knows each star by name; not one of them is missing! It would take a highly complex organization to keep track of the vast and countless stars. Moreover, God restored order to a muddled world: “When God began creating the heavens and the earth, the earth was a shapeless, chaotic mass, with the Spirit of God brooding over the dark vapors. Then God said, “Let there be light.” And light appeared” (Gen.1:1-3, Living Bible).
Modern thinking usually conceives God as being haphazard, with no set rules of life, leadership or redemption. Creation however presents the portrait of a Divine Designer and God of Accuracy and Exactness. The astronomer has found that every star moves with precision in its celestial path. The scientist has proven that God's formulas and equations are fixed, and that to ignore the laws of science would be a folly. If the laws in the material realm are so exact and precise, it is not reasonable that God could afford to be haphazard in the spiritual realm, where eternal destinies of souls are at stake! Just as He has equations and rules in the material realm, He has divine Order – equations and rules – in the spiritual.
Not just the heavens, but every part of creation was put in proper order. We were created in the image of an orderly God (Gen.1:26-28). To share His likeness is to share His desire to transform a disorderly world into an organised setting and give structure to a chaotic situation. The Garden-Home of the first couple was full of beauty, balance, and order (Gen.2:10-14). Moreover, Adam was instructed to tend and keep Eden in order, and given clear-cut rules to order their lives (Gen.2:16-17). God has perfect structure and design to ensure that all things happen at specified times and places and in specific ways. He is able to achieve absolute divine order amid temporal confusion, in order that we might have hope and experience perfect peace: “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You” (Isa.26:3).
The God of Order gave a decree to the oceans and seas, and they cannot cross His boundaries. Neither can workers of wickedness and fabricators of evil: “You who still the noise of the seas, the noise of their waves, and the tumult of the peoples” (Psa.65:7). God has assigned to the trials and turbulence in the world their limit. They cannot contravene His Order to not touch us or our ordained portions of the earth! He is set to restore and establish His Order in our hearts, minds, bodies, marriages, homes, careers, businesses, ministries, communities, cities, nations, and in His Church – for His Glory!

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
