GOD-GLORIFYING IMPACT (1)

“Let your LIGHT so SHINE before men, that they may SEE your GOOD WORKS and GLORIFY your FATHER in HEAVEN” – Matthew 5:16

To God be all the Glory! By Grace and Mercy, he has ushered us into 2025, our Year of GOD-GLORIFYING IMPACT, commanding: “Let your LIGHT so SHINE before men, that they may SEE your GOOD WORKS and GLORIFY your FATHER in HEAVEN” (Mt.5:16). We have transited from 2024, the Year of Divine Light and Life, into 2025, in which by the same LIGHT, we shall make GOD-GLORIFYING IMPACT!

Matthew 5:16 is a loaded command, the multi-faceted meanings of which the Holy Spirit shall unravel in the unfolding days, weeks, and months! God is declaring: “This is Your Year to Arise, Shine, and make IMPACT that will GLORIFY Your FATHER in HEAVEN –

• Shining Impact – “Let your LIGHT so SHINE…”
• Tangible Impact – “…BEFORE MEN…”
• Visible Impact – “…that they may SEE…”
• Practical Impact – “…good WORKS…”
• Positive Impact – “…GOOD works…”
• God-glorifying Impact – “…and GLORIFY your FATHER…”
• Eternal Impact – “…in HEAVEN” – Impact that transcends the temporal!

GOD-GLORIFYING IMPACT, which we may also call KINGDOM IMPACT, is a concrete change that conforms with God’s redemptive plans and aligns with His Word and His Spirit. Every IMPACT Situation is preceded by a CHOICE or Choices and produces a CHANGE or Changes! The IMPACT of any CHOICE is the CHANGE that CHOICE makes or brings to the World – either Positive or Negative!

Mathew chapters 5 to 7 contain the Sermon on the Mount, which is universally accepted as the Kingdom Handbook – the Standard of Life and Faith that the Lord Jesus set up for all Believers. It is not a special message just for those who have leadership roles in the church or the five-fold ministries. In this passage of Scripture, Jesus revealed the Will of God, His Standard for every faithful Believer in Christ. In Matthew 5:13-14, the Lord explicitly stated three vital truths about Believers, which sets the platform for us to make God-glorifying Impact.

We are “THE SALT of the Earth” (v.13). Salt is a powerful Agent of Impact that preserves from decay, sweetens or flavours, and induces thirst. This year, we shall manifest unstoppably as the Salt of the earth, preserving, flavouring, and creating thirst for righteousness!

We are “THE LIGHT of the World” (v.14). Believers are not just “a light”, but “THE LIGHT.” We are now the Representatives of the One Who said, “As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world” (Jh.9:5). He is no longer physically here; in His place, we are the Light of the world. If we do not give light, there is no other source to which the world can turn or look for light.

We are a “CITY that is set on a hill and cannot be hidden” (v.15). We breakthrough every limitation, imposition, and opposition of obscurity!

In this New Year 2025, we shall make GOD-GLORIFYING IMPACT, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
