GOD OF NEW BEGINNINGS

And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful – Revelations 21:5

We serve the GOD of New Beginnings! His Word - the Bible - begins on the note of newness and ends with the expectation of newness.
It is the delight of God to always “make all things new”.

The God of New Beginnings gave the formless, void and dark earth a new beginning! No matter how formless, chaotic, confused, empty or dark the past has been, God can give a person or a people fresh start, a unique opportunity, and a new beginning!

New Beginning is God’s pattern: Everything in creation has a beginning. Some things are privileged with NEW beginnings! Life and time come in cycles and seasons. God fashioned time into new beginnings: days, weeks, months and years. Every day, week, month or year is the opportunity of a new beginning! Every democracy is privileged with periodic elections…

New Beginning is an opportunity from the God of another Chance, the Merciful God, the Unchanging Changer: for us to receive more of His Mercy, to change, repent, make amends, re-strategize, re-prioritize, re-energize your dreams, do or make things right! God has something new and fresh for each new day, week, month, and season!

God is always doing “a new thing” – something that has not hitherto occurred or has occurred, but ought to take on fresh colour; some fresh, unheard of and wonderful event, that shall far surpass all He had formerly done, especially for His children. Making a way for us where it seems least likely is one of the new things that God delights in doing (Isa. 43:19, 48:17).

God wants to give us a New Song: Seasons of newness are seasons of joy, rejoicing, and refreshing (Isa.65:17-19). The psalmist made several references to new songs (Psa.33:3, 40:1-3, 144:1, 149:9). God’s new things always birth new songs (Isa.42:8-10, Rev.5:9). They sometimes come with a new name, which depicts new identity, honour, authority and dignity (Isa.56:4, 5, 61:1-6, 62:2-4).

Every recipient of a miracle in the Bible had a new beginning.

- Your dreams need not die, be discarded or abandoned; they still have a chance to live, thrive, and be fulfilled;
- You do not have to give up on your dreams! You can dream again! You can fulfil your dreams!
- You can awaken a new passion for your purpose, a new drive for your dreams!!

The Word of God is the Genesis of every New Beginning…even the New beginning before NIGERIA!
