GOD OF NEW BEGINNINGS

The Bible begins on the note of newness and ends with an expectation of newness (Genesis 1:1-3; Revelation 21:1-2).

It is the delight of God to always “make all things new”. The God of New Beginnings gave the formless, void and dark earth a new beginning! No matter how formless, chaotic, confused, empty or dark your past has been, God can give you a fresh start, a unique opportunity, and a new beginning this New Year!

Why does God give New Beginnings?

First, because it is God’s pattern: Everything in creation has a beginning. Some things are privileged with new beginnings! Life and time come in cycles and seasons. God fashioned time into new beginnings: days, weeks, months and years. Every day, week, month or year is the opportunity of a new beginning!

For example: the four natural seasons represent new seasons of life:

• Spring (from Birth to Young Adult / Morning);
• Summer (from Young Adult to Middle Life / Mid-day);
• Fall/Autumn (from Mid-Life Experiences / Afternoon);
• Winter (The Golden Years / Evening).

Second, because a new beginning is an opportunity for you, from the God of another Chance, the Merciful God, the Unchanging Changer:

• to receive more of His Mercy;
• to change and repent;
• to make amends;
• to re-strategize;
• to re-prioritize;
• to re-energize your dreams;
• to do or make things right!

God has something new and fresh for each new day, week, month, and season in 2015! Are your prepared for His new packages of blessings?
