Bible Meditation:
Isaiah 43: 1-21

Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do A NEW THING, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road n the wilderness, and rivers in the desert – Isaiah 43:18-19 (NKJV)

Our Heavenly Father is not only the God of Good Things; He is also the God of New Things! He is the Specialist in “Making All Things New”! God has so much to say and to do regarding making “all things” new in our lives. The Bible begins on the note of newness and ends on the prophetic expectation of newness. In the beginning, God renewed the then creation, deleting the darkness, voidness, and formlessness by the Power of His Spirit and His Word (Gen.1:1-3). He will do the same in your life right now, if you believe! Revelation 21: 5 also says: “…Behold, I make all things new…”!

It is always the delight of God to “make all things new”. May this blessing of His Goodness be your portion in this Season! Today, we’ll meditate on four dimensions of your destiny for which you can believe God for Newness:

  • New Covenant – God is the “Maker” of the new covenant, an eternal and unbreakable covenant (Ps.89:34; Jer.31:31, Heb.8:8, 13, Heb.12:24). It is new in terms of substance, spiritual essence, the Blood that bought it and the efficacy of the Spirit attending it! It is an excellent and better covenant; the covenant of Grace and Life. It provides and promises new things, a new heart, and a new spirit. It is called new because it is always new; stands firm, and will never need to be replaced by another. This covenant conquers all conditions – sickness, poverty, demons, darkness and death!
  • New Creation (creature) – is a product of the new covenant. Receiving the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour and Lord makes you a New Creation in Christ: Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation: old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new (2Cor.5:17).
  • New Life: is your portion in Christ, but you must walk in this newness of life. Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death: that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life (Rom.6:4). But now we have been delivered from the law, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter (Rom.7:6).
  • New Way – to walk in the newness of life presupposes the existence of a New Way…a new course of life. One of the new things God will begin to do is to make a way for you where there seems to be none (Isa.30:21, 43:19).

Prayer:
Lord, I thank You for the New Covenant by which I became a New creation, have the New Life, and walk in the New Way; help me to never trade away these eternal “things” for temporal junk, in Jesus name.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
