GOD WILL HELP YOU RIGHT ON TIME

God is our refuge and strength, A VERY PRESENT HELP in trouble – Psalm 46:1

God is our VERY PRESENT HELP… That means: He is a Help that abides with us perpetually. If we looked back on our lives from birth till now, there have been many more times that we were oblivious of and abandoned our Helper, than the times that we had called upon Him! Yet, Jehovah is ALWAYS there. He is our Very Present Help…a Help that never goes on a journey; a Help that never sleeps and never slumbers; a Help that never goes on a leave.

The LORD, our Help, is always there by our sides, but many times we abandon Him, while we seek and search for help where there is none! Many times we forget our Help, trusting in our human wisdom, and believing that the answers are in ourselves, separate from His Spirit’s leading. The word commands us to trust in the Lord with ALL our hearts, to lean not on our own understanding, but to acknowledge God in ALL our ways (Pro. 3:5, 6). Sometimes we think that the issues we are dealing with are trivial, for which we do not need God, since we can calculate, rationalize, and work things out. Even at such times, He is there, watching as we are busy with human permutations and carnal calculations, which often fall flat and futile. Yet the LORD remains at hand, waiting to be called upon.

Other times we assume everything is neat, fit, settled, and not needful of divine help, only for us to be disappointed and shocked in the face of failure and defeat. There are times when people surround us whose abilities or assurances we are so confident in: “I have this uncle, this aunt, this friend, this brother, who will take care of it.” At such times, we forget and take for granted our “very present help”, only for us to be left lost in the limbo!

If you’ll believe, God will help you. Your help will not arrive late. Your help will not be belated. Your help will not be delayed. Your help from God shall be right on time! Moreover, you also should never give in to the spirit of procrastination. God will ensure that you’re not be late for His help! Finally, let’s note that there are ‘times of need’ and ‘times of trouble’ (Heb.4:16). It is better to learn how to call on the LORD early, as your Help in the ‘time of need’ rather than delay until the situation deteriorates into a ‘time of trouble’! Whatever the case may be, GOD WILL HELP YOU EARLY - Right On Time!
